Hamilton, GA — On Friday, November 20, 2009, Joesph Parkman, a first-year student of Bethel Atlanta’s School of Supernatural Ministry, led a three man team to do ministry at a Baptist addiction-recovery home in Hamilton, Georgia — a small community about an hour south of Atlanta.
The goal was to just release the Kingdom and share the Love of Jesus and the Holy Spirit with the twenty-some inhabitants of the home. The day before the team left, Joseph was spending time with the Lord, asking Him what he should do on the outreach. The Lord responded, “You can do whatever you feel like doing. I’m going to back you guys 100% with whatever you do.” And, that was exactly what the Lord did.
After a short message during the outreach, the team started calling out words of knowledge for sicknesses. Of the 20 inhabitants of the facility, 12 saw immediate miraculous healing in their bodies.
One man had two bad knees, one of which had a chip of bone fragment floating in the tissues around his knee. After they prayed for him, he felt no pain in either of he knees and the bone fragment was completely dissolved. Another man had a leg shorter than the other, which grew out at the same time.
Three men were healed of pain in their elbows and two of shoulder pain. Two men’s backs were healed, one of whom had been in chronic pain for 15 years. Another man had a blood clot in his arm, which was dissolved. Two had arthritic-type pain in their hands due to pinched nerves from their writing. Both of them were healed as well. Yet another man had back problems that would cause shooting pain in his legs. He got so touched by the Lord that team members had to catch him when the Fire of God fell on him! Finally, and man suffering from years of chronic and painful migraines reported feelings strange, electric feelings coursing through his brain where he normally felt the migraines: healed.
After God’s outpouring of miracles, the team prayed and prophesied destiny into the lives of every man at the service with astounding accuracy.
Not only did these men experience the true Love of God, but they also had an encounter that would change their lives forever.
Of the 20 men in the facility, 15 of them chose to receive a baptism of the Holy Spirit and began prophesying over each other. Their lives will never be the same.
God is indeed good.
