Fijian Hindu’s Knees Healed
Last night, Melissa and I were out to eat with her parents at an Indian restaurant in Napa, which is run by a Hindu family from Fiji. When the chef/owner came to our table, Melissa noticed he limped as he walked. We asked him what was wrong with his legs, and he told us that he has severe arthritis which forces him to get injections every other day in his knees to ease the pain, which was at a level 8.
Melissa asked him if she could pray for him, but the man was hesitant. Then a confidence and faith came on Melissa, and she explained that we see healings often because of Jesus’ power. The man changed his mind and said, “You can do whatever you want.”
So Melissa laid her hands on his knees, and released the presence of God. By the end of her praying, his pain had decreased quite a bit down to a level 4. By the time we left the restaurant, his pain was completely gone! Imagine the difference he felt! The beauty of this man’s encounter with God’s power is that the Lord doesn’t wait for us to agree with all the correct doctrines before He’ll heal and touch us. Yay God!
