Sunday, November 15th in Tuolumne (near Sonora, CA) at the “on the house” community breakfast, an older Native American woman came to me for prayer for her nephew. (…long story short…) While talking with her, it came up that she had degenerative disc disorder in her spine and neck and her hips were bothering her. I prayed and checked in with her, prayed again and checked in with her – saying her pain went from an 8 to a 5. We gave thanks to God for what he did and she walked away. As she walked away, I noticed she walked with a pretty severe limp and I heard “hip”. So, I followed her to her chair and while seated in the middle of the crowded memorial hall, I asked her to humor me and sit straight while I held her legs out in front of her. Her left leg was two inches shorter than her right. I pointed it out to her while others around us looked on. So, I commanded her leg to grow in Jesus’ name and it did right in front of 10-15 of us. I said loudly – “did you see that, do you see how much God loves you!” She was sobbing and gave thanks to Jesus. I asked her to get up and walk and tell me how it felt. It was cute, because she was used to walking with the limp; she started, out of habit, to walk with the limp, and slowly it went away and her pace got faster, all the time saying, “oh my God – oh my God!” She almost ran back to me and hugged me while crying so happily. I asked her if we could share that testimony over the microphone and she said yes – so we did and it was such a blessing to a lot of people… YAY God!
