Healing at 35,000 Feet
Tonight on my flight coming back to California from Carolina, I was pleasantly surprised to sit beside a fellow southerner named Ronnie from Alexandria, Louisiana. I was glad to get to hear the familiar southern accent one last time for a while. About a half hour before we landed in Sacramento, I felt the Lord give me a word of knowledge for healing…on the right knee area of the right leg.
I turned to Ronnie and asked him if he had pain in his right knee. He said, “No but I do in my lower back.” I asked him if I could pray for him that God would heal him. He was very open to the idea. I didn’t even lay hands on him, but just prayed and commanded the pain to leave his backbone and spine. When I finished, I asked Ronnie if he felt heat or tingling.
“Yeah,” he said surprised. There was a heat sensation touching his back. I explained to him that it was the presence of God healing him! I also explained how the Lord gave me a word of knowledge for pain in the right knee area. Then Ronnie remembered that he had psiatic nerve damage in his left leg due to an ATV accident some years ago.
Faith entered my spirit right then and I knew that the word of knowledge was in fact accurate. I prayed for healing in Ronnie’s nerve.
When we walked off the plane, he told me that his back felt better!
I love it when we don’t even lay hands on people and they get healed.
