Physical Healing: Right Shoulder, 5/30/10
I have had right shoulder pain caused by lifting weights for about a week now. During the Awakening Service, a young man prayed for me. My shoulder was immediately healed! I am not experiencing any pain now and have full range of motion again. –Lillian
Physical Healing: Herpes and Deliverance from Shame, 5/30/10
An altar call was given for those who needed physical healing. Several words of knowledge were called out; however, my specific condition (sexually transmitted disease) was not mentioned. The minister then said even if what you need healing for wasn’t mentioned come forward and ask for prayer. Tonight I decided to follow those instructions and ask. I asked a woman nearby to pray for me. After much prayer, God showed me that I had unforgiveness towards myself. I confessed the unforgiveness and forgave myself. Then we prayed for shame to be broken off of my life. God told me 10 years ago that I was healed of Herpes. It went away for a long time and then would come back again. I really believe that it is gone for good! –Lu
Freedom from the Fear of Rejection, 5/30/10
A ministry time was held for those who dealt with fear. I went forward for prayer and several people gathered around me and began praying for me. I soon went from a standing posture to my knees because the Lord touched me so powerfully. He began delivering me from fear. He began to tenderly speak to me. After He set me free completely from my fears, including the fear of rejection, He began to bring HIs fire on me. He said He was going to use me to set others free from tormenting fear. Physical Healing: Plantar Fasciitis, 5/29/10
I had Plantar Fasciitis, painful inflammation on the bottom of the foot for about a year and a half. Last year I eve had to rent an electric wheelchair for our vacation. During the Awakening Service, a word of knowledge was given for Plantar Fasciitis. I raised my hand and several people touched and prayed for me. The fire of God fell and I felt it throughout my body. I am healed! Praise God! I have no more pain!
Physical Healing: Back, 5/29/10
I have had constant pain and discomfort in my back for about a year. I have flat feet and my back always has pain because of my job and having to stand on my feet all day. When I arrived at the Awakening Service, I just came from work so my back was hurting. At about 11:50 p.m., a word of knowledge was given for back pain. I went forward for prayer and several people surrounded me. As they prayed for me, the pain went from a level 10 to a level 1. After receiving more prayer, the pain left completely! –Morgan
Physical Healing: Back and Shoulder, 5/29/10
I have had back pain in my lower back and a sharp pain in my right shoulder. I got prayer tonight. As I received prayer, my back popped three times and all the pain left. –Evan
Physical Healing: Neck, 5/29/10
I was in an accident in July and have had pain since that time. My Atlas (the first vertebrae) in my neck was out of place, which caused pain and weakness in my whole left side and part of my right side. I also experienced bad pressure in my head. During the Awakening Service, I came with a neck brace on and in pain and people prayed for me for four hours. I felt the refreshing presence of the Lord and His fire. I noticed I was gradually improving. At 11:55 p.m., the Lord healed me completely. The weakness is gone! The pressure and pain are gone! I no longer need my neck brace! I am even able to squeeze my left hand (something I could not do before)! –Jennifer
Physical Healing: Neck, 5/29/10
My neck has been hurting for the past 3 weeks. I think the pain has been related to the amount of stress that I have been experiencing. During the Awakening Service, I felt heat hit my shoulders and go up my back. The pain instantly left my neck. I feel so much better! I feel like God is in control and I don’t have to worry. –Patricia
Freedom from Self-Hatred, Anxiety, Depression, Cutting, Suicide, and Sexual Immorality, 5/29/10
Since the age of 3, I have believed I was worthless and that no one would ever love me. When I was old enough, I knew I would take my life because that was the only way to end all the pain. I spent years cutting and attempting suicide. Today, God has set me free! I have revelation that He is kind and that He is my Beloved. For the first time , I feel quiet and at rest. I feel peace. This is something I have longed for for so long. The Lord has set me free from demonic strongholds and so much bondage!!!!
Freedom from the Spirit of Religion, 5/28/10
On May 16, I began an internship here at IHOP Atlanta. An altar call was given during one of the services for freedom from the spirit of religion. I felt that the altar call was not applicable to me so I did not respond. During the Awakening Service last weekend, another altar call was given for those who need freedom from the spirit of religion. I felt that I need to respond this time so I went forward for prayer. I was overcome with weeping immediately. I felt a release but didn’t feel like the Lord was done with the issue. At the next Awakening Service, I as over come with weeping as I sat in my chair. The Lord began to reveal “Christian duties” I was doing out of obligation rather than love. I received more prayer for freedom. While at the altar, the Holy Spirit touched me in a powerful way! I broke my vow with religion and I felt a significant release. I was then filled with the joy of the Lord. Now I feel like I can receive God’s love like I was meant to. –Dorothy
Physical Healing: Paralysis, Muscular Dystrophy, Multiple Sclerosis, Fibromyalgia, Restless Leg Syndrome and Lupus, 5/28/10
In February I was doing a YWAM outreach in India and became very sick. I became paralyzed and lost all feeling in my legs. I was hospitalized for one month in India and was not improving at all. I was flown home early and hospitalized at Emory. The doctors thought I would never walk again. They told me I had nerve damage. I was in a wheelchair and later could use a walker. One of my friends told me about the IHOP Atlanta Awakening Services. The first time I came I sat in the back as this was a new experience for me. I came again a second time. I had my friends help me into the meeting because I still couldn’t walk unassisted. I sat in the back. Someone came up to me and said (without knowing my condition), “Legs be healed in Jesus’ name.” He then told me to run. I explained to him that I could not run because I couldn’t feel my legs. He encouraged me to run and I felt strength enter my legs. I took off running across and around the sanctuary. God powerfully touched me! Today I am healed of everything! I can walk, run, and jump. My doctors have called me a “medical mystery.” I am healed! –Kristin
