Cancer Gone, Engery Back
Ray Schumacher lives in the Portland area, and he came to Bethel because he had had surgery for cancerous tumors in his colon that had metastasized to his lymph nodes and bone. He had had a portion of his colon removed with the cancer. He and others came here to a Friday night meeting and received prayer. He was “plastered on the ground” and couldn’t get up. He lay there a long time. He couldn’t even lift his arms. The next morning he was in the Encounter Room of the Healing Rooms, and the presence of God was strong. The Lord told him he was healed. He said, “I accept the healing, but I need a fleece.” The Lord didn’t say anything. Ray stayed for a while in the Encounter Room and then was called into the Healing Room for prayer. Then he felt like the Lord said, “Here’s the fleece. I’m going to restore your energy.”
Ray called to say that even on the long drive back and ever since, he has had energy. When he got back, he had a bone scan to check out what’s up with the spots on his bones. The bone scan came back showing that there is no cancer. He had to go to the oncologist yesterday. He prayed and got the confirmation that his energy level is restored, and he knows he has no cancer. He is not going to do the chemo. He believes he is cancer free now.
