Healing Rooms August 14, 2010
Here are some of the Healing Rooms testimonies as reported to a testimony writer on Saturday, August 14, 2010 by prayer recipients:
Miguel, Port Huenene, CA
For 6 months Miguel had lumps raised ½ inch high spread along 1 ½ inches on both hands between thumb and wrist. He didn’t know what they were because he hadn’t been to the doctor. They weren’t painful, but itchy and uncomfortable, and his skin was peeling from the scratching. He just started worshiping in the Encounter Room, and after the first song, or so, looked down at his hand and the lumps had completely disappeared, with only some peeling left.
Albert, HI
The little finger on Albert’s left hand had been stiff for about a year, so that he couldn’t bend it. When he tried, there would be pain from his finger down his forearm. After prayer he now has 100% movement back and the stiffness is 90% better. He can now make a fist and wasn’t able to before prayer.
Terry, OR
Terry has had degenerative discs in her back, which normally cause pain at a level 8 every day. While soaking in the Encounter Room, she could feel “movement” in her back. The pain is now down to about a level 2, and she feels God’s peace and love.
Kim
Kim has had high blood pressure and cholesterol, and diabetes. She would normally feel too tired and find it hard to have clear thinking. After prayer in the Healing Room, she has clear thinking and feels a lot better in herself.
Jae, Korea
Jae has had pain around the left side off her stomach area for 7 months. After prayer in the Healing Rooms, all the pain left. She feels very happy!
David, TX
David came for prayer for Hepatitis C and Liver Cancer. In the Encounter Room he could feel more of God’s Presence and feels reassured that He’s healing him.
Monica, TX
Monica has had pain off and on in her left knee for around 3 years. While she was in the Encounter Room, someone had a word of knowledge for ligaments in the left knee and all the pain left as the word was released!
Junko, CA
Junko has had lower back pain on and off for 18 years and it has become worse during the last two weeks. Her right hand side was aching, and at the worst points it was painful if she bent over; she would have to massage it and she couldn’t stand for very long. A word of knowledge was released over the Encounter Room for back and pelvis pain, and after prayer, the pain has all gone. She can bend it, and she feels a lot lighter in herself.
Gracie, Redding, CA
Gracie was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia last Thursday. Normally, her joints will pop when she moves her arms and legs around, but now there is no more popping. She came in with a cane and now says she doesn’t need it anymore.
Janet, CO
Janet has had inflammation in her right knee and pain and inflammation in her lower back for 5 years, as well as hypothyroidism, affecting her hormones. She also broke her leg when she was 16 (in her 50’s now, probably) and there have been lingering problems where the ligaments have still been “messed up.” While she was in the Encounter Room, she felt God’s Presence touching her in those different places, and the pain is 90% gone.
Peter, CA
Peter has been farsighted with astigmatism and has had pressure behind his eyes for about 1½ years so badly that every day he felt that he wanted to push on his eyes to relieve it. He has also had tension in his neck from previous gymnastics injuries to the extent that he could only move it normally 75% and usually had pain between a level 3 and 6. A word of knowledge was released over the Encounter Room for anyone with neck problems to put their hand on their neck and receive their healing. After further ministry from a prayer servant, all the pain and 80% of the tension has gone!
Monica, CA
Monica has worn hearing aids for 8 years, and hasn’t been able to hear low frequency sounds. After prayer, she can hear low sounds 85% better, and her whole range of hearing is 75% better. She also received prayer for Bipolar Disorder and was encouraged by the prayer servant saying that she could speak the name of Jesus if she ever feels fear at night as she’s trying to go to sleep. She was also given a prophetic portrait that confirmed what God had been saying to her about drawing her to soak in His Presence.
David, CA
David had pain and swelling in his hand from a previous fracture (he said “broken hand”). After David received prayer in the Encounter Room, his pain is 90% better.
Ali, OR
Ali’s dad got a pinched nerve in his back a week ago, which resulted in such intense pain that he became bedridden and couldn’t move. Doctors said it could take weeks to heal. On this Saturday the pain was so intense that he even found it hard to lie down. Ali and her husband, Jacob, stood in for him with a prayer servant in the Encounter Room. They felt to call him on his cell and release joy to him by laughing down the phone, and instantly all the pain left him. He was able to get out of bed straight away and walk around normally.
Jacob, CA
Jacob has had Ulcerative Colitis for 10 years. He would always feel tension in his stomach, and his body wasn’t able to digest well or draw all the nutrients from his food. Over the ten years, he would at times become particularly malnourished and would lose a lot of weight, once losing 50 lbs in 3-4 months. When it was very bad, he would have cramping and diarrhea to the extent that he couldn’t well leave house. It had been ‘under control’ for the last year, meaning that he would still be using the bathroom 5 or 6 times a day. As part of this inflammatory condition, his knees had also been very tight for the last year so that he couldn’t bend them or lift his legs more than half way, at times finding it hard to put his jeans on, and couldn’t sit on the floor cross-legged. The doctors had told him that there was no cure for it. In the Encounter Room, the prayer servant discerned a spirit of performance affecting him and that it was leading to the tension. They prayed and broke it off him and he instantly felt 10 lbs lighter. He can now bend his knees up to his chest and can sit cross-legged on the floor.
Rose, Redding, CA Rose hurt her left wrist playing piano 7 years ago when a small bone in middle of the back of her wrist suddenly and visibly popped out of place. Over the last few years the bone would move in and out of place, and her wrist would sometimes feel so weak that she couldn’t lean on it, and it was painful if she did so. She usually felt like she couldn’t rely on her wrist, and it has been feeling weak for the last few weeks. In the Encounter Room, a word of knowledge was released for wrists and she just knew it was for her because she was praying, “God, if you want to heal me have them call out left wrist.” After praying twice, and also feeling to pray for any internal scar tissue, she saw the bone pop back in front of her eyes and felt the weakness leave, feeling that she can now use it normally.
Paul, England Paul’s knees used to crack and pop in cold weather. He wasn’t specifically feeling that before he came today, but still felt God touching his knees, especially as there was a word of knowledge released in the Encounter Room for knees to be healed. He has also had occasional discomfort when passing water and will see if that has been healed.
Nancy, OR
Nancy has had pain off and on in her right knee, hip and shoulder and painful spasms in her left eye for 5 years. She couldn’t sit well while driving down to Redding. In the Encounter Room, a word of knowledge was released for knee, shoulder and eye pain and she decided that it was for her. She feels confirmation in her spirit but needs to wait to do things that would cause pain to tell if she’s totally healed.
Dina, CA
Dina has had neck and mid-back pain off and on between a level 5 and 8 for 3 years and has been having chiropractic treatment in the last year, which has helped a bit. The muscles on the right side of her back were shorter and pulling the spine out of alignment. Usually, for something like sitting for a weeklong conference she would have swelling in places along her spine and would have to take ibuprofen and lie on ice packs. After prayer her joints feel “oiled,” and all the pain and tension are gone!
Celia, England
Celia woke up this morning with a pounding tension headache, with pressure behind her eyes and across the temples, and neck stiffness. She’s had it before and it usually takes a while to go. After prayer she feels 90% better!
Arun, England
Arun came for prayer for near-sightedness. After prayer he felt a spiritual heaviness coming out of his eyes, left ear and right side of his head. He can’t see a noticeable difference with his eyesight yet, but was feeling drunk in God’s Presence!
Sharon, OR
Sharon has had glaucoma for 15 years, feeling pressure in her eyes every day and having to put daily eye drops in. A word of knowledge was released in the Encounter Room for pressure, and she just knew it was for her, because she had been praying for it to be healed. After prayer, she felt the pressure leave her eyes!
