Lately a ministry that feeds the homeless in Minneapolis, MN has been serving many more people than they’ve planned for and is seeing food multiply! This last week they had over 100 extra people show up for the feeding program. They brought 10 cases of soda as well as hot dogs to serve for the meal. The man serving the soda had a group of 6 cans on a table behind him and would reach back to grab 2 at a time and put them on the serving line in front of him. The thing was, there were always still 6 cans of soda behind him! After they had been serving for a while they still had a line of 150 people left to serve but only had 40-50 hot dogs left to feed them with. And, of course, no one in this situation is only going to take 1 hot dog but rather 2 or 3. The leader of the group told the people serving that God would work it out and to just continue on. Not only was there enough for everyone in line to eat 2 or 3 hot dogs but there was enough for everyone serving to eat and take some home to their families. By the end of the night, when they packed up their truck, they put back 10 cases of soda! The same number they had brought with to begin the night!
