A university theology professor had based his theology on his experience of disappointment when a loved one died of illness. He set up a debate between someone who believes that miracles happen and someone who believes they don’t.  Asked to argue that miracles happen, a minister said he would do it only if he could be the second speaker and could demonstrate that miracles do happen. After he spoke, he asked if anyone needed a miracle. A woman came forward with a glass eye. He prayed a couple of times. She said her eye felt as if it were bulging and tweaking. Then the glass eye popped out onto her hand, and a new eye replaced it. It took two or three weeks to gain sight in the new eye.

I could see like i was 15 years old again

glassesCame in for prayer for my ears and my eyes, my hearing has been diminished and the glasses I was wearing were just old and my eye sight was getting very bad. Came in to the Springfield Healing Rooms for prayer on Saturday August 18. Nothing really changed that day, however on Monday, while driving my work truck my eyes really started to bother me I pulled off to the side of the road , took my glasses off and rubbed my eyes, I felt like something fell out of both eyes, when I opened them I could see like i was 15 years old again, my eye sight had been restored, Praise the Lord.. no more glasses - larry on 2012-09-20

My vision was fading fast in my left eye. It is a lazy eye and was causing problems with my right eye. I couldn’t even read my Bible at times because of my vision, even with glasses on. Today I am writing this testimony and reading small print without my glasses and things are continuing to become clearer. Thank you Jesus. – Donna on 2012-08-11

“Now that was fun at the fair as it should be. Prayed for a guy who was legally blind and unable to drive because of it. God instantly opened his eye and we were both surprised and excited. He goes ” I can read the Budweiser sign and I can see those people in the back of the beer tent” and so on. He must have asked me 4 times “didn’t you see me squinting when I walked up, seriously I couldn’t see those things” I said “yeah isn’t God good!” We had a blast, the fair is so fun when God is with you!” ~ Dan G.

Friends of Paul and Sue Manwaring reported the testimony of a man who had no eyeballs, and they watched his eyeballs begin to grow, and he could see light. The woman who reported it had previously had gluten intolerance and epilepsy and had had to choose between getting epileptic episodes or being sick from her medicine that contained gluten. She has been healed for 8 years and is incredibly fit and powerful physically and spiritually, a fitness instructor and preacher. She and her husband minister in Africa.

Miracles in Mozambique

The Harvest School of Iris in Mozambique now has 250 students. Two weeks ago, they didn’t have enough housing, but all the money came in for it and for the vehicles they needed. They have students from Europe, Australia, Canada, Mexico, the US and New Zealand.

They prayed for a blind girl, six months old, whose eyes were totally white. Her eyes changed colors, the pupils were restored, and she is able to see! They went in for a feed with 1500 pieces of bread and 2,500 people showed up, and there was enough food and leftovers. They said, “This is the fourth time in this city that we had people eat the food that God had created for them.”

The Checkout Woman

I was working on the ambulance and needed to buy potatoes & onions for dinner. I waited in line at the checkout and noticed the clerk rolling her head from side to side with a look of pain on her face. She asked how I was doing tonight. I asked about her obvious neck pain. She explained that she’s had it for a while. I asked if she wanted to be healed.
She was curious and asked if I was a massage therapist. I told her I prayed with people and saw a lot of them healed; often miraculously. She said, “I’m sold!” But we had a problem. She had a line of customers waiting and I couldn’t stay long. I gave her a card to the MIPU website, told her my e-mail address was on it and that I’d be back soon.

I left the store with mixed feelings; glad for the opportunity to plant a seed of hope, but disappointed that I didn’t get to pray with her.

I came to work the next day & ended up at the same store again. As I approached the store, I met two men who were taking donations to help disabled veterans. I introduced myself and shared my admiration for what they were doing.

I noticed that one man was wearing dark sunglasses, even though they were in a shaded area. Few people wear sunglasses in dark places unless they have vision problems. Normal pupils dilate and constrict to allow the right amount of light to enter the eye. Problems with the pupil, like cataracts, make the pupil unable to correct for different lighting conditions. I asked what kind of problems he had.

With a puzzled look, he asked how I knew about his eye problems. I explained. He told me he had glaucoma and cataract surgery to his left eye, leaving him partially blind. I asked if he wanted to be healed. With a big smile, he said, “Sure”. I asked if I could place my hand on his shoulder and he agreed. I invited the Holy Spirit to come and bring his presence and power to heal. I asked for peace to fill him and commanded darkness to flee. I commanded his eye to be healed and glaucoma to leave then I asked how he felt.

Smiling and laughing he said, “I fell like all my anxiety just left and I feel that peace you were talking about”. He also said his vision was a little better.

I explained that the peace he felt was the work of the Holy Spirit and asked if I could pray a second time to improve his vision. He agreed, so I prayed a second time, addressing the vision then I asked how it was. He reported that it was even better now.

I went inside the store and found the woman with neck pain at her checkstand with a line of people waiting their turn. I saw another store employee and explained what I wanted to do then asked if she knew when the next break was. It was coming up in 15 minutes. I decided to wait for her.

She saw me waiting and smiled, holding up one finger to let me know she’d be able to talk in a minute or two. She closed her checkstand. Walking toward me she exclaimed, “You came back!” I asked how she was feeling.

“You came at the right time. I have a migraine headache and my neck and shoulders are killing me.”

I wanted to give her hope that she could be healed so I shared the story about the store employee who was healed of migraines two years earlier from a word of knowledge. It worked, she was encouraged. We talked as we walked outside.

I asked about her symptoms then asked if I could place my hand on her shoulder and pray. She agreed. I asked the Holy Spirit to bring his presence and commanded the spirit of pain to leave.

Next, I commanded her headache and neck pain to leave and commanded the bones in her neck and back to come into alignment, then for all muscles, bones, ligaments, tendons and nerves to be healed. I asked how she felt. “I feel great. My headache is completely gone.”

I asked if she was lying and told her she didn’t need to worry about hurting my feelings. Smiling, she said “I’m a big girl, and I’m being honest. My headache really is gone.” But she still had a little pain between her shoulder blades so I placed my hand there and commanded the pain to leave then asked again how she felt.

Moving her shoulders up and down to see if she could make the pain come back she said all the pain was gone.

I said, “Isn’t God just amazing?”

With a knowing smile she said, “yes he is.”

As we stood in front of the store, a bitter wind chilled our faces. We talked about the goodness of God, which she’d experienced many times. She knew the Lord well. Today’s encounter was a further revelation of His deep love and mercy toward her.

“Well…I suppose I need to go back to my check stand”

My partner slept in the front of the rig, oblivious to what had just happened. In the distance I heard the wail of a fire engine.

“I guess I need to get back to work, too.”

Here are some testimonies from participants in the November 16, 2010 Global Legacy Video Conference:

Jim Baker: In the past 2 weeks: we had 2 people get out of wheelchairs at Walmart. One stroke victim, who was paralyzed on one side of their body got healed. All of the effects of the stroke were gone in 2 days. We’ve seen a case each of asthma, HIV, and prostate cancer healed. An 80-year-old man’s hearing was restored. (He got rid of his hearing aids).

Doug Burroughs: My wife, Janice, was healed of severe scoliosis which she’s had for over forty years, and I was healed of a torn rotator cuff and a knee that would not bend for 13 years at Bethel. We are so excited for even more things as we begin our church this month in Colorado!

Michael and Diane Brodeur: We also hosted a Campus Awakening weekend with Banning and his team. We had about 250 participants, and they invaded a major university campus on Saturday afternoon with wonderful healing testimonies.

Wayne Armstrong: We got to pray for a nephew the doctors said had Mono. The doctor was positive he had it.He went for blood tests, which came back all negative.

Angel Nava: I was this weekend in Guatemala ministering along with Danny Silk to 200 pastors from Central and South America. God is doing great things for Latin America. We had great word, impartation, laughter, and healings. A man who couldn’t raise his arms was healed.

Marty/Leslie Chamberlain: Marty gave a great message on finances on Sunday. The church is struggling with low finances. Marty took the tithe/offering and gave it all away to a local church. Ha, Ha! Fun.

Andy Osmond (UK, Cheltenham): Went into a prison last weekend with a team from our church, to lead the services. We saw 9 men stand to give their lives to the Lord. Praise God! We have seen nearly 90 men give their lives to the Lord in seven visits. A man who is not yet a Christian allowed us to pray for his bad knee. I said he might feel heat. He said, “No, but it’s really tingly!” He then got up and tried it out and was surprised to find that it was much easier! He said, “I’m not just saying that, either!”

Dave Hammond: We had a personal prophecy booth at an outreach event, non-stop for two hours. Some people gave up because the queue was too long! There was a huge life change for many. Ninety percent of the people coming were non-saved. Loads of seeds were sown. We are now trying to follow up.

Jackie Veach: I recently did a trip to a city in the north of Norway for a New Age festival and saw about 38 people saved, 50+ healed and many delivered and blessed by Jesus. One woman whose nerves were severely damaged when a cancerous tumor was removed from her face was completely healed, and her nerves were restored.

Nigel Desmond: Our team from South Africa was ministering at a church in Richmond whilst we were in the States. We saw the manifest presence come and touch people with joy and the presence of God. There were a number of healings. One lady was healed of years of arthritic pain in her body as she walked up for prayer before anyone had prayed for her. In Vallejo, gold dust manifested on a lady head to foot. Others said, “I want that, too,” and God started splashing it out.

David D’Louhy: One of our youth went on a ministry trip just over a week ago. On the way there, the other people in the car starting praying for him to be healed of color blindness. After an hour or two, he noticed that he was able to see the fall colors for the first time in his life. Upon coming back from the trip, he was 95% healed. When he was sharing this at the youth meeting on Wednesday, he starting praying for his two brothers who are both also color blind. While praying for them, he got healed the rest of the way!

Daryl Nicolet: So much is happening out here. Worship has been intoxicating! We are seeing more and more healings. People are being drawn here. We are starting a school in January that will focus on the 5-fold, activating giftings and releasing them in our region.

Marty/Leslie Chamberlain: We had a young man from Young Life visit on Sunday. He called Marty four days later and said when he walked in the door and through the worship and prophetic ministry something on the inside of him shifted. He experienced God’s presence like never before and was completely delivered of drugs, alcohol and other physical sins. He’s been trying to get free for years, and this was instantaneous. He’s testifying at all the Young Life meetings this week. Freedom is fun stuff!

Dan and Rebekah Jones: Over the summer we ministered at a week long summer camp. We trained the youth up and sent them out. We saw 28 people get saved during the week. Many received miracles on the streets and, during one meeting, gold dust and oil appeared! PTL! God is Good!

Ian Andrews: A little child with night terrors and seizures received a new brain.

Brad Brittsan: I was healed of hip pain that caused pain to go down my leg I was healed at the home of friends where we were staying when we were down for the conference. On the way home to Montana, we stayed overnight at my brother’s house in Oregon. I asked him why he was walking so weird. He said his hip was out and he had pain down his legs. We prayed for him, and he got totally healed. Power of the testimony.

Galen Gingerich: On Sunday a young man came for the first time – he had been in a serious auto crash 8 years ago and has been living in a neck brace ever since. During the worship, his neck was totally healed, and he had full mobility without pain. Upon hearing his testimony, another first-time guest was healed of a serious neck injury, as well. Every week, people are coming from long distances to encounter God and to receive their miracle. Exciting days!

A man came to be baptized at church last night. He was completely blind. As soon as he came out of the water, he began to see! After additional prayer, he began describing what he saw. He could read the signs in the hallway!

At a church in the UK last spring, participants in a prophetic art workshop were instructed to paint with a blindfold on to receive something from the Lord. An Iraqi, who lives there and had been coming to that church for about six weeks, said, “Did you see that?” He pointed out symbols that he could see in a lady’s painting. On another paper plate, he drew out the same symbols that were in the lady’s painting. He said, “That’s the Arabic word for ‘God!’” That Sunday he was born again. Recently he was married in the church and is serving the Lord with his wife.

Healed of Dyslexia

On the night she was healed, Sarah-Lynn wrote this touching testimony:

I was born with a learning disability, including Dyslexia.That means: I couldn’t spell, could not read, (until I was 10, and God did a miracle for that!) and I would get letters backwards and numbers in the wrong order.

But tonight I have the GREATEST NEWS! I AM HEALED!

I can hardly believe it myself!

I was at church and Bill Johnson got up and was talking about miracles God has done to people that have had head injuries and trauma to the head. And then he said that God was really healing people with problems with the mind: A.D.D, learning problems, and people who had blind eyes because of a blow to the head, Bipolar, and even people with amnesia, and some people with autism.

Then a lady stood up and told of how she was healed of bipolar and many, many other brain problems.

Bill Johnson asked if anyone had head trauma or learning problems.I put my hand up and then he asked us to stand, and I stood. He called other people to stand, too, with various other health problems.

The people around me started to pray for me, and I felt a cold breeze blowing on me, and after a few minutes, Bill Johnson asked the people with health issues to try to do something they couldn’t before. And it thought, “If I am healed, I will be able to spell,” and the first thing I thought of was a name I couldn’t spell and I could see it clearly as if it was my own name. I have never until today been able to spell names, it was “Cortney,” and I thought of other names and I could see them, and I broke down crying for joy. And I saw words I didn’t know how to spell before. Even in this blog I have spelled words I couldn’t have yesterday! I am so full of JOY and EXUBERANCE!!!!!!!!!!

After the praying was done, Bill asked if anyone was healed and a man went up and told of three things he was healed of. And then Bill asked if there was anyone else who had a total overhaul! And I put my hand up and the people around me who had prayed for me were pointing at me, and so Bill Johnson called me up and told everyone what had happened and they stood and clapped and cheered!!!

Even as I have written this, I have had to stop, because I was on the ground crying for joy!!!!

I can SPELL! AND READ AND DO MATH!!!!!

PRAISE GOD! PRAISE GOD!!! HE is so so so so good!

Testimonies from Global Legacy Video Conference

Amelia Gaillard: The mother-in-law of a friend here in Jacksonville was in Intensive Care with days to live. Her son was getting married in three days in Montreal. We prayed, and she was at his wedding last Saturday.

Greg Baier: We had a guy clinically die twice from rattler bites and was on dialysis and comatose, but we prayed for about 3 weeks, God healed him, and he’s alive and kicking now!

Greg Baier: Also had a guy delivered from years of alcoholism instantly on a random prayer night. He says his life has totally changed.

Tim Hacker: A little girl in the church was diagnosed with a muscle problem in her eyes. One doctor was saying to operate immediately. One said to wait. Both said that her eyes would never be right. The parents placed the bread on her eyes during communion on a Sunday in one of our services and believed for healing. The next week a surgeon the family was referred to saw the child. He simply asked why they were there because the little girl was now completely normal.

Darren Palmer: We had a lady who ”couldn’t afford it” start tithing four weeks ago. The heavens opened up on her. God’s presence is invading her in her home. A $400 tooth repair job was healed and confirmed by x-rays, saving her all that money. PTL

Gisele Walker: I prayed for a woman a week ago Friday night. She was tormented with sciatia. She was completely healed and jumping and praising God, saying over and over, ”I knew He would, I knew He would.”

Holly McWhinnie: Called my daughter last week in Chicago to see if she had found a job yet. Got a word of knowledge that God was healing an ulcer. She said. “Mom, how did you know?” Also walked into place of business and hired on the spot.

A.W. Jones: I was in Puebla, Mexico, in a meeting. I felt that we really needed to pray over the children and the youth. We prayed over the children and then released them to pray for the rest of the church. It was so cool: two girls about 8-years-old were laying hands on people. They would lay hands on them and say in a sing song voice Gozo! Fuego! Which translates Joy! Fire! and the people would fall in a heap under the power of God! Amazing!! Great joy was released over the church. We are seeing people healed and delivered in almost every meeting. God is good.

David D’Louhy: A woman was going in for surgery to have cancer removed last Thursday. She was expected to be out all month. Yesterday her co-worker went to check with her substitute teacher to see how the surgery went but was surprised to see that the teacher was there because she was feeling so great that she didn’t need to take time off!

Stan Tyra: A new man in our church who didn’t really believe in divine healing was healed just by being in the room. His legs were really blown off in Vietnam and had been put back together with pins, rods and screws. He went for his yearly CDL License physical and his annual Veteran’s exam and there were no sign of any rods, screws or anything. Totally gone!!

Dennis Strittmatter: Hey Chris, greetings from Switzerland! We were just watching a DVD from when Bill was in Germany in April and shared a testimony of a guy’s leg grow out where the thigh bone was 5 cm shorter than the other. A guy watching with us had the same thing, with a 3 cm difference. His leg grew out, too! His theology was stretched as well, and he is now a believer.

Nigel Desmond: We just had a glorious week here in East London, South Africa (the city of revival). We had a team of King’s Kids International out from Toulouse, France, who had heard what God was doing here, so they came to drink from our well. We had a week of soaking, teaching impartation and fire, in which they got totally rocked, with personal encounters and joy, and experienced His presence and love in a glorious new way. As part of the week, I had my 12-year-old daughter share of her experience at Bethel going to heaven and the impact on her life. Then she took them. Tears flowed as they related their encounters with God. Now they have gone back to France, and we are already hearing testimonies of the same fire falling in their cities in France. World revival is here! Feel it, feed it live it!!!

David D’Louhy: Sunday night we had two people have their ribs go back into place just by testing it out. Another person’s collarbone shifted. Shoulders, hips, backs, arms, nerve problems, esophagus problems, jaws, and more. We spent an hour calling out words of knowledge and ministering to the sick before finally getting to the message, which was on demonstrating the power of God.

Kelly Joy: Sorry that wasn’t finished. In June, Joaquin Evans came to France with a Gateways Beyond team. He was present at a lady’s church. That lady’s son has signed up to go to the BSSM this year, and his family did not want him to go. When his mom went to the meeting, she got healed in her back and now is so on-fire for the Lord and so excited that her son will be coming to Bethel this year. The fire has started in France, Joaquin. Thanks for coming!!

Darren Palmer: Another woman in our church had MS and was wheelchair bound for 7 years. She was touched two weeks ago in a service, got up, and started pushing others around in her wheelchair! Her legs are still a bit weak, but functioning well. Her family is astounded at what the Lord has done!

David D’Louhy: We took a team to Rhode Island with Kevin Dedmon a few weeks ago. Arches formed, completely deaf ears opened, a completely blind eye began to see, fractured bones healed, legs grew out when children prayed, 30-year-old injuries were healed. One team member had a vision of a cast on the hand. She sees a man at a citywide party with a cast on who had just finished drinking his beer. He got totally healed!

Pete Sharp: We had a guy come for prayer. He has something wrong in his nose and a spot forming on his skin. He felt nothing and went on his way. A couple of weeks later, we were praying for his wife, who told us all the spots had left him and he was healed from cancer! (Dunedin Healing Rooms, NZ)

Rebecca Horstkoetter: I had a bump on my lip from a dog jumping up and hitting my lip hard. It was there for a year. It’s gone!

Gisele Walker: I have been sharing testimonies as I pray for people. I can see them physically stand straighter and their faith just rises immediately as I have done that. The power of thanksgiving for what God has done, and not focusing on what is still left to be healed. It has been powerful to see their faith rise in front of me.

Nigel Desmond: My associate pastor, Corne, has started ministering at a bus stop near his house to domestic workers. It has become a regular monthly event now, and people are bringing their friends to get prayer for different needs. They have seen incredible healings (almost everything they have prayed for has been healed). One elderly lady shared how she had a problem with her hip for years. After they prayed for her, nothing happened, but a few days later she woke up in the morning feeling someone’s hand on her hip. She opened her eyes and saw a man putting his hand on her, and then he disappeared in front of her eyes. She came back and testified that not only was she completely healed, but her whole life has turned around. She is full of joy, her finances turned around, etc. Whoo-hoo.

Phil/Pat Edwards: On the street, we picked up two street persons and took them to dinner. One had a huge lump on his jaw. We prayed for their salvation, their future, and healing for him. We saw them yesterday, and the lump on his jaw is gone.

Gisele Walker: An 89-year-old friend back in Vermont has liver cancer in her hip. She was in a lot of pain when I talked to her by phone. I had her lay hands on her own hip. The pain was not gone, but I encouraged her to lay hands on herself every day. She told me in two weeks the pain is 90% gone. Praise God!

Pete Sharp: I prayed for a university student who got radically healed from a back condition. She felt God move down her back as she was healed. We then got her to pray for her friend, who had a leg grow out in seconds. She got wacked and is now chasing a Kingdom lifestyle. I found out she had been saved for a year and knew God could heal, but now she knows!

Ken Smith: My wife was diagnosed with MS in 1997. We persisted in prayer, giving her ”prayer treatments” until every symptom was healed. To this day, we pray when a symptom tries to come back, binding the enemy. Every time, the symptom goes and she is totally healed: paralysis gone; weakness leaves, etc. It has been very dramatic! We have to ”secure the healing.”

John France: I was listening to a DVD of Joaquin, and my knee was healed. Some time later my pharmacist was in a cast with a broken finger. I shared my testimony and prayed for her finger to be healed. The cast kept us from checking it since she was at work, but she said, ”I don’t know about my finger, but my headache’s gone.” When she got home and could check it, her finger was completely healed. Bill Johnson says, “Testimony in the Greek or Hebrew means ‘do it again.’”

Leslie Juckem: I took in a puppy that the vet said was totally deaf. The vet said that she had no bones in her ears. I named her Hoshanna (Hosanna) and began to lay my hands on her and pray for healing of her deafness as I was an interim home, and I had to find a permanent home for her. I found her a home as a deaf dog and their vet also confirmed her disorder. She now hears. The vet can’t understand it. So if we are like the woman who agreed to the scarps for the dogs from the Lord, we are in good shape!

David D’Louhy: Gisele, we had a lady testify of laying hands on her knees and back this week and being healed. So great!

Rebecca Horstkoetter: My sister-in-law had been given two diagnoses of legal blindness and was close to a third. The first two were for clarity of vision and sensitivity to light. The third issue was glaucoma. Her vision had been restricted to 27 degrees. The Lord restored her sight and physical mobility so that her eye doctor has signed documents saying her sight is good enough for her to drive a car!!! And she no longer needs a walker!!!

David D’Louhy: One week I was so drunk that when I finally went to pray for someone I read that he had 4th stage cancer and then I told him God was going to heal him. Five minutes later he was healed. I was so drunk that I could barely stand up straight and 95% of my prayer was laughing.

BSSM Mission Trip Philippines 2010

Theresa Dedmon took a BSSM team to the Philippines. Here are some of the testimonies:

They went to Metro Ministries, who minister to so very many children. The team shared testimonies of healing, and took them to the garbage dump where there are a million people. They took Metro’s workers there, and many people got healed. A boy was healed and gave his testimony. Theresa asked who needed healing, so a girl who was sick with asthma received prayer from the boy who had just gotten healed, and she was healed, too. Then they had the girl pray for a cross-eyed boy, and he is no longer cross-eyed.

Every day they were ministering, they saw people get saved, healed and touched. A place where the typhoon was in November had been messed up, but a guy had reached out to the gangs and was ministering to them and leading them to the Lord. He had never seen people healed or the prophetic. The team took the gang members into the street and people were getting healed. The gang members prayed for a deaf, dumb, blind person, who started to talk and whose eyes opened. They had a crusade and did a drama, and 90% of the people got saved. They saw 75 people healed out in the open air. When they called for the people to come up and get healed, the gang members were praying for them, and they were getting healed.

Part of the team went to a certain city and a person that a well-known prophetess had prophesied would one day be president was on the plane. They got to minister to him and the officials that were with him.

Another team got to prophesy over the mayors and give them prophetic art. One mayor brought in all their city representatives as the team was prophesying over him. They talked about healing and invited people to come after the meeting if they needed to be healed. Fifty people were healed.

They went to a prison and did a drama, and all the prisoners got saved.

In the Philippians, they were meeting with 200 AOG pastors and Theresa was talking about Azusa, and Caleb saw a woman in a wheel chair with polio very crippled with her feet bent back behind her. She hadn’t moved them since she was three years old. Her legs began to unwind as Theresa was talking about what they needed to come back to. So Theresa said, “It’s time for you to heal the sick,” so they came and prayed for that lady. They had a fire tunnel that ended with her. She got up, her feet were straight and she walked.

It was January 2009. A man named Tim whom I had just met needed a ride home from church, so I offered to provide a lift. As Tim sat in the front passenger seat of my van, I noticed how his eyes didn’t converge (track together when looking at things), and that he had to turn all the way to his left to be able to see me with his right eye. So as we were on our way to Tim’s house, I asked him about that.

Tim explained that when he was six, he and his older brother were out hunting squirrels, and his brother accidently shot him in the left eye – both boys thought the pellet gun was empty. After surgery and forty-five days in the hospital, Tim was left with an intact but unseeing eye.

When we arrived at his house, I asked Tim if he would let me pray for him. He said yes. So with us still sitting in my van, he let me put my hand over his bad eye, and I prayed.

It happened this way:

After the first time of prayer, Tim said he saw a tiny bit of light on the far left side of his left eye, but he didn’t react at all. Wasn’t the least bit excited.

Because of Tim’s flat reaction and also because I had little faith and wasn’t really expecting any change, for a few seconds there I almost missed it. I had decided to let Tim out and make my way home, but something prompted me to check to be sure nothing had happened.

“Wait a minute; you just said you saw a little light. Have you ever seen any light at all in that eye?”

“No.”

Hello! Even I could see that the Lord was starting to do something really wonderful and that we needed to press in for it. So, explaining to Tim that Jesus had to pray twice for a blind man (Mark 8:22-26), I went after it again.

After the second time of praying, I asked Tim to covered up his good (right) eye and tell me what he saw.

“I think I see your car keys in the ignition.”

I told Tim to reach out and touch the keys, and this he did, but with great awkwardness and little coordination (he hadn’t used his left eye to guide his hand in nearly four decades).

I asked Tim what he saw on my dashboard; he said he saw a dog (I have two plastic dogs up there), and he reached out and eventually touched one of the plastic dogs. He also said he saw the various instruments on the dashboard but couldn’t quite make out what they were.

At this point, Tim reported that the vision in his left eye was narrow, as if he was looking at things through a tube.

So I prayed two more times; each time Tim got more vision in that blind eye.

After the fourth prayer time, Tim got out of the van, and with his right hand on his right (“good”) eye, he began walking around his driveway, pointing at and naming all the things he could see with his “blind” left eye – “There’s my house, there’s a tree, there’s some cars…” and as it was dawning on Tim that he really could see – he started to get happy!

Thus after thirty-seven years of no vision in his left eye, the Lord Jesus completely restored Tim’s eyesight.

There’s more.

I got to see Tim only once after that, a month or so later. His eyes were starting to function “as one”, in that they would track together (eye doctors call this “convergence.”) Shortly after my last time to see Tim, he left the area. Owing to some legal matters from his past, he spent the better part of a year in jail in another part of the state.

Tim still lives in another city, but I hear about him through a mutual friend. I am told that after Tim completed his sentence and was released, he found a job. Partly because of his visual difficulties and family background, Tim had never in his life held a job. But with his restored eyesight, Tim apparently gained the confidence to go to work. That’s as much a miracle as the restoration of his eyesight.

As far as I know, Tim is still a pre-Christian. But the Word of God and the touch of God “never returns to Him void” or without effect, so I am praying that because of what Jesus did for Tim, Tim will also see that Jesus is life itself, and will open his heart and receive real life in Him.

That would be the best story of all.

I couldn’t do this before!

On Thursday, I went to the Benny Hinn meeting in Oakland with Dennis, Tim, Tammy, Savio, and Susan.

While we were walking towards the entrance, I saw a guy in an electric scooter and I asked him what had happened. He said he had some kind of bone cancer and it caused part of his spinal column to be crushed (he had a lot of pain).

Dennis and I prayed for him a few times but he didn’t feel much change. Later on in the evening, we heard that he got completely healed of all the pain and he no longer needed his scooter. He ended up testifying in front of the whole stadium and he thanked us for praying for him afterwards.

While we were inside, I saw a lady limping towards me. I asked her how she was doing and if she needed healing and she said she did. She was in some kind of accident that caused her left leg paralyzed to some degree.

I grew out her leg and her walk got significantly better. Her son who was with her also agreed that it was better and then asked if I could pray for his leg because he had some nerve pain behind his knee.

I had his mom pray for him twice and each time, the pain decreased. I hit it about 3 times and then all the pain was completely gone. They were both very amazed and encouraged because the meeting hadn’t even started. I taught them on authority and I went off to find more people to minister to.

We were about to go outside the building to catch people before they went inside, and on the way, I saw a guy with crutches standing with his group of friends. I casually walked up and asked him, “Hey, what happened to your foot?”

The guy said he sprained his ankle and I asked, “Does it hurt right now?” He nodded so I said, “here give me your hand.” He gave me his hand and I commanded the pain to leave and for his ankle to be whole. I told him to check his ankle and when he did, there wasn’t any pain. I told him to start walking on it and he was dumbfounded because his pain was gone. The rest of the group looked just as amazed and I taught them a little on how to heal the sick and on authority.

We went outside the building and I saw a guy in a wheelchair rolling in. I asked him what happened and he said he was paralyzed as a result of a car accident. He let me lay hands on him, but we didn’t see any apparent change…

I decided to go back inside the stadium and I saw a lady with a quad-cane struggling to get up the stairs. I asked her is she needed a miracle in her body and she said “Yes.” She said she had sever scoliosis (it looked really bad) I had her sit down in a chair and grew out her leg. She said all her pain was gone, and when she tried to walk again, she said it was much smoother and she felt much stronger.

We didn’t see a dramatic change with her spinal structure, but she was able to walk a lot better than before.

…

Later, I saw another lady walking up the stairs and I just asked if she needed any healing in her body. She said that she had arthritis in her knees, so I prayed for her, but she said she couldn’t really tell at that moment.

We found some seats, and I saw a lady nearby who had a cane by her feet. I went over and asked what the cane was for and she said she had a stroke and she lost use of the left side of her body. I hit it a few times, but didn’t see any apparent change. She was so encouraged that I even took the time to stay with her.

A bit later, I was wandering around and I saw a lady with her walker folded up next to her. I asked her if she needed a miracle in her body and she emphatically said “Yes.” I asked her what she was dealing with and she said she had very bad hip pain. I took her hand and commanded, “Hip pain go, be healed.” I told her to check herself and she said she wouldn’t know for sure until she walked on it.

She stood up, walked around and had a huge smile on her face. All the pain was gone and she gave me a big hug. She was so excited and then asked me to pray for her daughter (had a growth in her jaw) and her grandson (memory problems). I also got to minister to her husband who was next to her who had gout on his elbow, arthritis, and a growth on his knee (no apparent change).

Later, when Dennis finally hooked us up with seats on the floor section, Tim and I approached a guy (Bill) we saw with a walker. We spent about 20 minutes with Bill and he got healed of level 9 back/hip pain, knee pain, neuropathy (often causes numbness). He was finally able to stand up without pain for the first time in a very long while. We also prayed for his heart, kidneys, diabetes, and had his wife grow out his leg.

Tim also ministered to Bill’s wife who had rotator cuff problems and bone spurs in her heels (I don’t know what happened).

After we ministered to them, Bill told us to go pray for his brother Leonard and his wife Danny who were higher up in the stadium with the crowd. Tim and I went up to them and ministered to them. Leonard also had neuropathy, lots of hip pain, pinched nerves that affected his whole left side, and slipped discs. After Tim and I commanded every pain/sickness to leave, we had him test himself out. He said most of the pain was gone, but it was a little stiff. Tim prayed for his stiffness to go and when he checked it, it was much better.

I noticed that he had hearing aids while we were praying for his neuropathy and pain, so I asked if we could pray for his ears. He agreed, so I told him to take out his hearing aids. Tim and I stuck a finger in each ear and commanded the spirit of deafness to go. After ~10 seconds, I took out my finger and asked him how his hearing was. He simply said, “It’s good.”

We didn’t really believe him, so we probed him with questions. “What could you hear before this?” “So… you can hear us clearly now?” “Really?” We found out that previously, without hearing aids, he could barely hear a phone ringing in the same room. The whole time, we were speaking with him normally about 2 feet away from him, while a guy was speaking on the mic on the stage. He said it was normal!

We were excited, so we started ministering to his wife who had iron deficiency and severe visual impairment. We didn’t really see much change, but as we were about to head back to the floor to find more people to minister to, Leonard exclaimed that he was feeling a lot better in terms of strength.

…

Later on, Dennis and I decided to hang out near the exit so we could catch people on their way to their cars. I saw a lady walking slowly with her husband. I asked her if she needed any healing and she told us that she had bone on bone in her hips. There was excruciating pain and wasn’t able to bend down and touch her toes.

I hit it once, and a lot of her pain left, Dennis hit it the second time and all of her pain left her body. She kept bending up and down and said, “You guys don’t understand, I couldn’t do this before.”

I asked her when was the last time she could bend down like that and she said, “6 years!” She and her husband were excited and in awe.

…

A bit later I saw a lady sitting down with a swollen and bloodshot eye so I asked her what happened. She was with her grandson and she told me she just had an operation in her left eye. She and her grandson said that her left eye was completely blind.

I had never seen anyone healed of total blindness, and this was my first opportunity. I wasn’t very nervous, because I knew I had nothing to lose, plus, I had just seen a deaf ear open up earlier, so that definitely helped.

She also said there was pain and some pressure in her eyes, so I laid hands on her eye and commanded the pain to go. After 2 hits, all the pain and pressure was gone, but she was still blind. I commanded sight and for the optic nerves to work.

When she tested her eye, she covered her good eye and looked out of her bad eye. At first, said it was still pitch black. I hit it one more time and when she checked again, she saw light! I hit it one more time and then she saw wiggling in front of her because I was waving my hand in front of her.

She was excited and so was her grandson. I taught them a little on authority and they told me they would see me the next day.

Marie was blind in her left eye and legally blind in her right eye. Her retinas were burned through radiation treatment. A prayer servant had a vision of her optic nerves. As she was receiving prayer, she began to scream, “I can see” as her vision was restored.

Washington State
A man had AIDS, and he confessed that he was healed by the stripes of Jesus. His AIDS level was 34,000 parts, and it went down to 600. The doctor said, “What are you doing? I would keep doing that because we can’t do anything for you.” So he kept confessing the truth of the Word. Two weeks later, he was at zero—no sign of AIDS.

A lady brought her daughter in who had a tubal pregnancy. She was schedule for surgery because it could be life-threatening. The team prayed and the Holy Spirit said, “The problem is the baby has the wrong address. So they prayed the baby would get the right address.” She went in for surgery and asked the doctor to check and the baby was in the uterus. After the baby was born, she went to see the man who did the ultrasound and showed her the baby. They compared tests and thought it was impossible that that was the same baby. She said, “Well, here he is.”

Healed of uterine cancer

In September 2007, I was diagnosed with uterine cancer following a hysterectomy. When I heard the lab report, I thought that must a mistake – they had someone else’s uterus! When you are told something like that, your mind can’t seem to wrap around it.

Prior to the hysterectomy, I had been bleeding almost constantly for a year and a half. It started when I was 54 years old. At that age, I suddenly hemorrhaged and had an emergency ablation, a procedure where they cauterize the uterine lining. It’s supposed to stop or diminish unusual bleeding. Only for me, it didn’t.

After the ablation, I kept bleeding. My gynecologist kept telling me I just needed to get through menopause, but she never did any blood work to check.

She then put me on a regimen of hormone therapy to try to force my body into menopause. The pharmacist tried to tell me not to take the hormones, but I blindly followed my doctor’s advice.

Finally I demanded a hysterectomy and then got the cancer diagnosis. By this time I was 55-1/2 years old. The doctor said she was confident the cancer was contained. However, the lab report said there was no “clear surgical margin,” meaning, she might have cut through the cancer.

I needed a catscan. The doctor made appointments for me with an oncologist, a radiologist, and a specialist in Billings.

I had the catscan and the gynocologist told me it was normal. She said the specialist would do a labroscopic surgery to stage the cancer. They would remove some lymph nodes in the abdomen and remove my ovaries. I was confident I was fine.

Finally, about three weeks following my diagnosis, I saw the specialist. He said, “Your catscan is NOT normal.” He said the cancer had not been contained. Instead of a staging, he suggested immediate radiation with chemotherapy to follow.

I felt like I was in a fog. To my benefit, each of the doctors I met said they believed I would beat this, that it was curable. But it was vital that we attack it hard and beat it now. A recurring cancer would not be good news.

I was scheduled for 7 weeks of radiation, 5 days a week, followed by 6 chemotherapy treatments, one every 3 weeks.

After a week of treatments, I called a minister with the Christian Training Centre of Texas, Rev. Evelyn Thiele-Leonard (Sister Evelyn), to minister healing to me. She ministered to me over the phone.

When I called, I didn’t give her any details except that I had had a hysterectomy and had been diagnosed with uterine cancer. She began to minister and she described the type and stage of cancer exactly as the lab report and specialist had said. She took dominion over it and cursed it in Jesus’ name.

I didn’t feel anything when Sister Evelyn ministered, but faith isn’t based on feelings. I just took it by faith that I was healed. I began confessing my healing to everyone around me, but I have to say, for about three days, I felt I was in a spiritual battle. My mind wanted to tell me, “You are not healed!”

I put together a list of healing scriptures from the Bible and read them over a few times a day, declaring them out loud. I listened to a CD every night of someone reading Bible scriptures on healing.

Finally, on the third day, the Lord revealed to me that I was missing out on the assurance of joy. I literally began to praise God whole heartedly for my healing that day. I became filled with joy. I even danced around the house! I was so happy.

It was then that I knew I could walk into my doctor appointments on Monday and request a new catscan. I was already scheduled for a checkup with the specialist the following week, and I wanted to show him my miracle.

I got the catscan and I went to see the specialist. He was ecstatic. He could not believe the changes. I told him, “I’m a miracle of healing.” And he walked over to me, took my hand and looked me right in the eyes and said, “It’s radiation, my dear.” I replied, “It’s God and medicine.”

To his credit, at a later checkup, he said, “God is all over this!”

At the advice of the doctors, I followed through with all treatments. I thanked God each time I was in treatment that I would receive all of the good benefits and none of the bad. That doesn’t mean I never dealt with side effects, but they were minor. The doctors called me their miracle patient! I absolutely knew I was healed and therefore I had no fear at all.

It has been 2-1/2 years since the hysterectomy. I feel better than I have in years. All my checkups remain fantastic.

    In Quezon, Philippines during the March 2010 Missions Trip with Bethel Church to the Philippines we were in a evening healing crusade meeting.  The Holy Spirit broke forth in laughter, joy, encounters and healing power!   After calling out words of knowledge we began to pray for people.   Many people were getting healed, and then this one happened that totally ignited the meeting we were in.

    My fellow teammate on the missions trip a 2nd Year BSSM student Eunice Barruel called out metal as a word of knowledge.  She was praying for this older woman who had a metal brace around her waist, metal in the back, a walking cane and a completely blind left eye.  After a while I came over to see what was happening with the woman and as I did the woman who could see out of her right eye but NOT YET her left eye grabbed my hand by faith and wiped her blind eye with my hand.  When she removed my hand from wiping her eye she exclaimed “I CAN SEE!”  her blind eye opened!  Then she went down to sit in her chair and she stripped down to remove her metal brace from her waist and she put her walking stick aside and she touched her toes as well!!!  She proclamed and announced she was going home that night!  And that’s what she did.  For the first time in 30 years she was able to see out of her left eye and for the first time in months she was able to walk freely without pain without her metal brace on!!!  WOW!!!

    Partnering with Healing Angels in the Philippines

    In Philippines during the March 2010 Bethel Church Missions Trip, we saw some amazing tangible things.   On this day we were at the Mayor’s House where there was a government officials leaders meeting.  To put a long story short we were able to meet, pray and prophesy over the Mayor of the town in front of the entire leader’s gathering!  The mayor gave us full access and freedom to minister in the prophetic arts, healing and prophetic word.

    When we dismissed the meeting we invited anyone who needed a miracle or healing in their body to come and receive prayer from our team.  Healings and miracles began to break out with the tangible presence of the Lord present doing many amazing things throughout our team members as we prayed for the sick.

    There was this one man who for 14 years was pretty much legally blind.  With his glasses he could see but without them things were drastically blurry to the point where he couldn’t read large letters that were close to him.  Eunice Barruel my friend was praying for him and she called me over to help her pray.  Inside my heart I was asking the Lord how can I pray that is the way you want to minister to this man God?   I felt like God said just stand back and invite me to magnify his eyes.

    So I stood a little ways back without touching the man and had him hold out his hands palms forward.  I did the same from a distance.  The translator we were with was a government leader as well.  As we invited the Lord’s magnifying presence the man’s whitish pale colored retinas began to get darker and browner…almost like a coloring pencil was drawing on his eyes.  The eye color began to change in front of us.  We saw water coming down from his eyes…but the most tangible thing was our hands.  I could feel this mighty force like I had never felt before resisting my hands almost like I was palm against palm with another man but one that I couldn’t see.  I asked Eunice later did you feel that angel?  She said yes.  Our translator unbeknowest to us at the same time the man’s eyes were flowing with water and being colored in testified that she saw an angel of the Lord wiping water away from the man’s eyes.

    This man was completely healed!!!!  He could see long distance and read the letters on the campaign tent from a distance he couldn’t before.  14 Yeras of being legally blind evaporates under the healing power of God!

    Drive by healing

    By now every time I drive by and see someone limping or in a wheelchair or that is blind, ect, I point my hand to them and command healing in their bodies. Its hard to hear testimonies from this kind of stuff, but I have been sure stuff is happening like that because so much is happening all the other ways that I get a chance to find out about, even over the phone and stuff.

    Well today I saw someone limping in the city on the sidewalk and began to command wholeness, and honestly as clearly as I could see passing in the side mirror I watched him straighten up as he was walking and stop limping.

    Haha! He doesn’t even know what happened to him! I pray that he will somehow realize or find out that it was Jesus.

    buffet I got to sit in on a small meeting with Chad Dedmon and Joaquin Evans a few months ago and here’s some of the stories that they talked about:

    Esophagus Cancer Healed & Financial Miracle
    Last spring an unbelieving man came in to the healing rooms with esophagus cancer. He got totally healed, saved, and is now preaching, healing the sick, and leading people to Jesus. The man recently lost his job when he tried to take off work to go to a healing conference. When he got to the conference and shared his testimony, people started giving him money. They just began piling cash on top of him. When they counted how much it was it came out to be $3,333.

    Cancer Flees
    Chad and his wife Julia just returned form a year long around the world ministry time. They told a story about a meeting in France where people were so desperate for healing that they were almost afraid for their safety. A Muslim man with liver cancer and a week left to live came into the meeting. The doctors had opened him up to take out the cancer but found it had spread so violently that they stapled up his side and told him he had no hope. During the meeting the man started receiving the Father’s love and, as he did, his staples popped open and black gunk started oozing out his side. All the pain left his body as the black stuff kept coming. He went to the doctor that afternoon and they were shocked and amazed. They said all the cancer had died and was literally fleeing his body!!

    Blind Eyes Healed
    The healing rooms here are seeing an explosion of blind eyes opening. Joaquin says that they do the best they can to try to record all the healing but sometimes, there’s just so many that it’s hard to keep up with.  Chad and Julia saw a man healed in Mozambique who had been spit in the face by a cobra. The venom had destroyed his eyes and struck him blind until Jesus miraculously healed him and brought life back to his eyes.

    New Eye Balls!
    In India the Dedmon’s met a man who was born without eyeballs. He was a pastor who preached using Braille and had been fasting for 38 day for his healing. They prayed for an hour or so and, kept checking to see how he was every 5 minutes or so. For a while nothing was happening but then he could open his eye lids for the first time in his life! After a little while he opened his eye lids and there were new eye balls there! They continued to pray and his eyes became blue (which is a bit odd for an Indian). He could see shapes and forms but not really color. As they continued to pray his eyes turned brown and he could see perfectly!!!
    A doctor later told Chad that sometimes babies are born with blue eyes and can only see partially. Later on, their eyes turn brown and they are able to see normally. The doctor said that this mean the man had literally received brand new baby eye balls that grew into his head. Jesus!

    Achilles Tendon and Calf Muscles Grow Back
    At one meeting they prayed for a man who had fallen through a glass ceiling a few years earlier. He had severed his Achilles tendon and the doctors had to remove his calf muscles completely. The man could hobble a bit but couldn’t walk normally, move his ankles at all, or feel anything in those areas. As Chad prayed for him he started moving his ankles around and was able to feel his feet. He told Chad that, earlier that day, he’d told the Lord, “wouldn’t it be great if I could run today” – because he used to be a runner. Chad said they were going to run so took him by the hand and they took off sprinting around the church.

    Healing Rooms in  a Gas Station
    At a certain gas station, so many people got healed there that they’ve now opened up a healing room there. We were joking around that the gas pump read out might read, “would you like a car wash, receipt, or do you have any pain in your body?”

    Astro Dome Miracles After Hurricane Katrina
    Joaquin and Chad shared about how they and a few other guys spend several days ministering in the Astro Dome in Houston TX after Hurricane Katrina. They were denied access to get in but a prophet had told them that, when they were denied access, they should go to a door on their left and they’d get in that way. Sure enough the door on the left was open and the security guards inside literally walked away as they came up. They prayed for a woman with several herniated disks in her back who got instantly healed. All the pain left her body and she could move around normally. She, her daughter, and granddaughter got saved and became a walking evangelist  - she’d walk up and down the isles of cots demonstrating how Jesus had healed her and asking others to receive prayer. Some people simply looked in the direction of the guys who were praying and felt heal go through their body and their pain leave. One lady hit the floor when walking past them and was healed of alcohol withdrawal symptoms.
