A Testimony of God’s Provision!

This testimony is from one of our first-year BSSM students:

Because I haven’t been able to find a job, I got behind in my rent and utilities. My roommate had a lot of grace, but it got to the point where I had to pay her or move out. She gave me an extension until January 31st to pay or I had to leave. I asked The Lord for a sign that He was going to take care of it, and He told me to ask Him for a heart, so I asked Him for a heart, and then He told me to give Him untill Tuesday, so I gave Him unmoney2till Tuesday.

The very next day, a girl gave me an origami heart with Isaiah 60:5, which ends with, “The wealth of the nations will come to you.” I told her that her word was right on, and when I came back from the bathroom, there was a note from her with $50 on my chair.

On Sunday, I got a text saying, “Make me a cake, and ask Holy Spirit what I should pay for it, no matter how high or how low.” So I prayed, and the Holy Spirit told me $593.65. My friend agreed and gave me $420 today and is going to give me the rest of that tomorrow. I also found $20 in my folder at school, which means I only have $27 left to get. God is so good to me! He provides for His children! He has shown me over and over that He is my provider and that I’m meant to be here at BSSM.
This has grown my heart and made me change my heart! The Lord says I’m worth investing in!

Blessings bringing Increase!

file0002076167778newsmallHere is a fun testimony from one of our BSSM students:

My husband and I raise breeding poultry (yup, chickens). We have been building up the business over the past year and have been waiting for a return on the investment. We have been hoping that this spring they would start laying more, and we would have more product to sell. We have 300+ chickens but some of those are juveniles, chicks and roosters. But we were expecting more than the five or so eggs we were collecting a day.

In worship at school, I felt like the Lord invited me to bless the chickens. I realized that I had had a, “Well, I’ll wait and see if this is going to be profitable before I jump in,” mindset and I wasn’t really supporting my husband. So I went all out and blessed those chickens to feel safe and welcome. I blessed them to be comfortable, to be healthy, and to start laying and to multiply.

One to two days later, we collected 2 dozen eggs. Three days later, we collected 3 dozen eggs. And yesterday we collected 4 dozen! My husband made $700 with them in one week! And it keeps increasing!

Not actual money from the story.

Financial Breakthrough

Here is a testimony from a BSSM student:

Not actual money from the story. My wife and I literally did not have any money to pay or $700 in monthly bills or to buy groceries. I heard a testimony at school from Dave Harvey that several people were receiving money in $1000 increments immediately after hearing the testimony. A couple of days later, when my wife and I felt we had no other resort, I texted my dad and asked for $800. Surprisingly, his response was, “I can mail you a check for $800, is that enough?” The truth was it wasn’t, but I had wanted to ask for the minimum possible, so without remembering in any way the testimony, I had heard a couple of days before, I said, “One thousand would pay for the groceries for a month,” and he answered, “1k is in the mail. Glad to help.” Now that I write it all out, I wonder if I heard Dave’s testimony after my Dad had sent the check. Either way, a couple of days after I heard the testimony, I received a check in the mail for $1000. Then yesterday (1-25-13), my wife and I received a donation for our mission trip of $1000. I believe that there is still at least one more blessing in a thousand-dollar increment on the way! And when we get it, I will write it on this site and give God the glory for how he moved in my life after I heard a testimony and how I know he will do it again and again in the lives of the people who read what I just wrote. Praise The Lord!

Debt Forgiveness

keysA BSSM international student had an accident resulting in $4,000 of ER and clinic bills, which were not covered by her insurance because she had forgotten to add an accident waver. This extra expense was weighing heavily on her mind. But we prayed over our finances on Sunday morning services at Bethel, praying through each line of our Offering Reading Number One, and the next day she found out she would be forgiven $2,300 of the bill and the clinic bill may be lessened as well.

Also, on Saturday she lost her key and found it today!

Pain and Tumor Gone, Provision Increased

portland2Wow what a trip. I wanted to share three amazing things that came out our attendance at Bethel:

1. We went to the Sunday 1 pm. and 6 pm  services. We prayed the offering prayer. We didn’t think anything of it until we arrived back in Portland. We received two totally unexpected checks that added up exactly to what we spent to attend the conference. It wasn’t “sort of close” — it was exact. We tracked our expenses in a log so we know exactly what we spent. God is good!

2. My wife had a large tumour removed from her leg several years ago. That tumour is what drove her back to church and to dedicate her life to Christ. She had another growth appear in her leg and was worried about it. That growth totally disappeared on Tuesday night. She didn’t think about it until we got back to the hotel. Its gone!

3. I was struck by a car on July 19, 1978, while walking down the side-walk  I’ve had chronic lower back pain since that day. On Wednesday I noticed that I had zero pain—none! And I haven’t had pain since then, and I helped an elderly husband and wife from our home church move this weekend and no pain!

God is so good. We were blessed three times from our trip!

Provision for Missions

moneyRandy prayed for the BSSM students who want to do full-time missions. Two days before, one student realized she needed $50,000 to do what she needs to do to be in full-time missions. Driving home from Randy Clark, she had to pick up someone who was late. While waiting, she got an e-mail from home about a voluntary redundancy which will cover the money she needs to pay off her house loan.

Another student who is a nurse who desires to work in missions in third-world countries but I have all these student loans. She went home for Christmas and her grandmother gave her an inheritance from her great-grandmother. It came out to exactly the total she owed for student loans.

Season of Restoration

money2We received this testimony by e-mail this morning:

I was listening to the Bethel service on my iPhone this morning (January 27) as I was putting on my make-up. When Eric prayed for people that needed things restored, I raised my hands along with those in the audience. My husband and I have had much stolen from us over the years and are still waiting to see restitution. A ringing phone interrupted my prayer/praise as I stood in my dressing room. I answered it because it was from a lady who would never call unless she had an important reason. She informed me that God had just told her to send us money and named the amount. For us it is substantial, but more importantly it is a tangible sign that the season of restoration is here!

Saved, Healed and Forgiven

firestartersLast week a girl en route to a Home Fire group saw a man at the gas station with his head in his hands and asked him if she could pray for him. She invited him to the group. He had lost his job and home and had been living on the streets. When she saw him, he was contemplating killing himself. His long-term injury was what made him lose his job. She invited him to go with her to the Home Fire group. He gave his heart to Jesus and also received a healing at the group. He stared coming to the Fire Starters class and ended up one day at a table with a guy who had held a gun to his head years ago. That man had also become a Christian. A rage came up, but he is saved now and had a tattoo on his hand that says, “forgive.” He told the guy, “I just want you to know that I forgive you.” They embraced.

It’s been three months since he came to the Lord.
People in the group have taken him home and he has his job back because he is healed and they are working on getting him a home.

God’s “New Math”

Not actual palettes shown.

Not actual palettes shown.

My name is Seth, and I live in New Castle, a small town in Western Pennsylvania. The church that I attend has been gathering supplies and food to take to the victims of Hurricane Sandy. By Sunday (Nov. 11th, 2012), we had packaged up and shrink wrapped 6 pallets worth of supplies. We rented a box van that had space enough to hold 7 fully packed pallets and drove it down to Baltimore early Monday morning. Interestingly enough, the entire trip ended up costing twice as much as it should have. Gas was twice as expensive. The tolls were twice as expensive. Even food was twice as expensive. This was a bit frustrating to say the least.

Now to the good part. Confusion arose as the workers opened up the back of the box van and started unloading and counting the pallets. They came up and asked the drivers how many pallets were loaded. The drivers did not know the amount so they called back to the church and got the answer that 6 wrapped pallets had been packed onto the box van. The lady counting gave a confused look and went back to count some more. They ended up bringing a second person in to count the pallets and then asked the drivers to verify again how many pallets were brought. The drivers called again and talked to a different person at the church who verified that the number was, in fact, six. The people unloading then explained that they had somehow unloaded 14 wrapped pallets off of the box van, 8 more than were packed by the church and 7 more than the square footage of the box van would hold. The drivers were shocked and called back to relay the information to the church. The elders began calling everyone who had helped pack the pallets to verify that “yes, there were only 6 pallets sent to Baltimore.”

We have no way of explaining this other than that it was a miracle from the Lord. Praise God!

Bethel Global Legacy Web Conference

January 18, 2011 GL Network VC Testimonies

Sandee Wichkoski: Testimony: Had the awesome opportunity on Sunday of baptizing some of our spiritual sons at the prison. One of them was so overwhelmed with the power of Holy Spirit, he couldn’t stop crying and speaking in tongues. God is proving His goodness in amazing ways, and sealing in their hearts their sonship with each encounter with Him. His ways never cease to amaze me!

Doug & Janice Burroughs: This weekend, we ministered in a traditional church and saw three hips healed from accidents, shoulders healed, enlarged thyroid healed and a great outpouring of God’s mercy!

Sean 4: We saw tuberculosis scars healed so a friend could pass a medical and get a job!

Ray and Lynne Edwards: Over the holidays: My 3-year-old niece was healed of Cystic Fibrosis (GONE!), my dad was healed of prostate cancer (GONE!), my mom’s 88-year-old friend was healed of heart failure and left ICU to be home for Christmas! God is GOOD!

Scott Crowder: I was at some meetings in Williamsburg, VA, the other night with a well-known minister. Testimonies of weight loss, baldness reversed and gold teeth were some of the highlights. There was a great diversity of folks pressing in to the glory of the Lord.

Brook Potter: I prayed for a woman who had aquagenic urticaria (allergic to water). I prayed for her over Skype and commanded new skin and every cell to line up with God’s will. She’s now taking regular showers, with no pain or welts! Praise God!

Deborah Coates: Saturday we went over to a young woman’s house to pray for her, and the pastor friend felt the urge to baptize her with water and fire. She has a disease, Myasthenia Gravis, that according, to doctors, is non-curable, but not for Jesus. We baptized her with water from the Jordan River and then prayed for her to be healed. Her whole countenance changed. She received the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Through chemo and disease, her energy level was depleted. That night she texted me and said she and her husband were sitting in back yard laughing, enjoying the fire in the fire pit. We stand for total healing. It was awesome seeing death leave her face and body.

Dan Mickelson Medford, OR: We prayed for a lady with ovarian cancer at church on a Sunday morning. When the doctors did a biopsy on the extracted tissue, they could not find any cancer cells.

Tim Eldridge: ”I want my knife back!” message has really provoked us. My daughter lost a USB memory stick with 2 years’ worth of work on. We prayed as she lost it in Walmart parking-lot. Ten days later a man from a city 2 hours away posted it back saying he had found it and posted it back.

Reggie Mercado: Last Sunday, the Spirit of God showed up in such an amazing way during worship it was difficult to stand. One woman who couldn’t move her wrist nor touch her thumbs to her fingers began to move her wrist and flex her fingers. She was visiting with a family member and does not know Jesus. However, she acknowledged that it was Jesus who healed her! We’re believing for her salvation!

Jacki Elsom: We are leaders of a house church and have been practicing hosting the presence of God during our time together. Last week, we had testimony of a foot that was run over, and there was not even a bruise. One of our folks had an 80-year-old dad that accepted Jesus after 40 years of his children praying for him. A friend’s daughter had a brain tumor for two years and the last MRI showed the tumor GONE. We had a brother OD from heroin, and by the time our group member got there, no heartbeat was evident and they person was blue. They just started speaking life into the brother and when the paramedics got there, the brother was breathing and getting pink! God is always present!

Steve Backlund: Wendy and I ministered in January 2010 in Norman, OK, at a ministry school. At the end of the teaching session, we had a Holy Ghost blowout time (people on the floor, shaking, joy, etc.). When we returned there this past weekend, one young woman (who had ended up under a table during that meeting a year ago) told us that she had been delivered from depression in that encounter. It is exciting to know that God is doing more than we know.

Sean: My wife Janet and I have been praying since the beginning of the year for a financial blessing. Not for anything in particular just to show His love for us. This week we received a check in the mail for a very large amount of money completely out of the blue! Praise Him because He loves us!

Sean 4: Antibiotics affected the enamel of my 2-year-old’s teeth causing yellow and brown discoloring. But we kept praying for them, and over a few weeks, God restored them back to his pearly whites.

S. N.: I’m seeing more and more people in my practice who have serious mental illness becoming better and better. No dramatic instantaneous mental healings, but have had some physical ones that help people with mental illness believe for their total healing. As they see God healing backaches and headaches, their faith rises and stuff is starting to come off. One woman who hated herself and body is making great progress in accepting God’s view of her. Another man who had serious jealousy issues and ADHD, has been talking clearer, has no more jealousy, and is able to focus. Pretty amazing stuff lately. Bless the Lord!

Sharon Lee: Up here in Port Hardy, BC, God has been pouring out! People have been getting healed (myself included), people of all ages having visions/getting caught up to heaven, people having intense encounters with God, baptisms in the Holy Spirit, people pressing in, boldness, etc. God healed my back in October and then ”danced me”…doing ballet moves I have never done before no dance training. The presence of God on us in Port Hardy is really thick.

Stacy Helbling: We had a ”refreshing” day with our Tanzanian staff on Saturday. We did stations where they received different ministry. One station was the ”laughing at the lies.” We had so many people get delivered that the station was so backed up we were carrying our staff to the next station. It was great to see people who are surrounded by poverty and sadness being filled up with so much joy!!

Michael Miller: An 8th grader at a local middle school had 70% liver failure in early November. He was immediately placed on the top of the Texas transplant list. December 23, he was prayed for by his teacher and a few others . Ten days after that, the doctors pronounced him healed and he was sent home. He is returning to school at the end of this month. Yeah God!

Starla Thompson: I experienced many testimonies of “I want my knife back,” and have declared for many others about this. My favorite was when I lost my wallet at the Lakeland revival. I retraced my steps and left my name everywhere; cleaned my rental car out several times. It appeared several days later on top of a newspaper in the back seat of my car. Yeah God!

Tom & Kim Tanner: Our 10-year-old grand daughter got a new pair of jeans for Christmas. When she put her hand in the pocket to get a quarter out, she discovered a $20 bill! She supports an orphan for $16 per month, so she was believing for money to send for Jan! She is completely convinced that God put that money into her pocket just for her child!

Ron Kilman: A woman asked us to pray for her to be healed from Lupus. She returned a few months later and kind of complained to us. She had been accused of identity theft and doctors had refused to treat her (lupus) because her cataracts were gone as well as glaucoma. She couldn’t convince medical providers she was who she claimed. God is funny sometimes.

Stuart Gregg: For us on a North of England council estate (housing project), it’s always family that our young, broken people are looking for. We have started a ‘Free Running’ course at the local high school. A school staff member came in and noted ‘You have the hardest, most marginalised young men in here. I don’t know how you have done it.’ We do—the Lord ! Accepting, loving in grace but showing the amazing power of God is essential.

Sharon Lee: There is a girl in my church who had no biblical literacy. She started seeing Jesus in one of our services, and since then has been having intense prophetic dreams, where Jesus will sit with her and her friends and teach her entire passages from the Bible in ‘real-world’ situations, and she’ll wake up hearing the ‘address’ of the scripture verse, look it up, and it will be exactly what Jesus had been speaking in her dreams.

Sheila and Bev, UK: I lost my wallet and looked everywhere, including my car. My wallet appeared 6 months later on the back seat of my car. Praise the Lord.

Bill Bolin: We moved to the greater Detroit area of Michigan about seven months ago to begin pastoring an existing church. We are seeing incredible things happen in the midst of the economic uncertainty of the region. People are being healed, saved and set free. The church has doubled in attendance with the building packing out. The River is flowing with force and power. It is way cool!

Pancake Miracles

In Sweden, we have something called pancake churches. It’s when young Christians go out on the streets, talk with, pray for and give free pancakes to people. It started just about four and a half year ago, but today some even call it a movement when hundreds of Christian youths are involved in loving other youths in about 15 towns around the country.

We had a conference a week ago, called UNION. More than fifty people met in Uppsala to share stories, pray, get some good advices and of course eat pancakes. Some BSSM graduates tought us prophetic evangelism, and they got some experiences that blew the mind of many of us (one of them seemed to see angels anywhere he went). But it turned out that the pancake churches themselves got some really good stories when Jesus had actively been involved in their evangelism. Several healings were reported, and one pancake church witnessed pancake batter supernaturlly multiply. Here are some of the testimonies (I’ve decided not to write anybody’s name, but if someone wants these stories confirmed, please contact me here):

The pancake church in Örnsköldsvik went once to a pub called Public and told a group of people there that they believed in Jesus and that they knew that He can heal. The people they spoke to were pretty sceptical, but one of them let the Christians pray for his back pain. The pancake team lay their hands on his back and prayed, and the guy got chocked. ”It doesn’t hurt anymore!” One of his friend asked him ”Seriously, did you get better?” When he confirmed this, she asked the pancakde team to pray for her foot, in which she had some pain. When they prayed all pain disappeared.

Another guy sitting their said that his hand clicked when he moved it, because it was so stiff. They prayed, and after that it was silent. ”Man, this is scary”, was his comment. After this, the team got to pray for the first guy’s lungs. He smoked a lot, so they were a bit damaged by that. They laid their hands on him again and prayed. The girl who got her foot healed also wanted to join in the prayer and laid her hand on him. When they were finished all took away their hands from him except her, she continued to pray. Suddenly she cried out and immediately removed her hand. She said that she felt how his back got hot – even though he was wearing a jacket.

A guy from the pancake church in Ängelholm was once at an office party. He sneaked in a question whether his workmates believed in God or not, and one of them said that he couldn’t, since half his family had died in cancer. They didn’t speak so much more about it then, however, later on this very man (perhaps not totally sober) asked his Christian friend if he could pray for his old father who had cancer since five years back, causing him severe pain. He started to pray for this.

Some time afterwards, the man contacted the guy from the pancakce church on Facebook. Beginning with ”The thing we did that night, you know…” he wrote about what had happened with his dad. The chronic pains that he had had for five years suddenly diappeared, without explanation. This happened at the same time when he got prayed for at a pub not far away, a friday night around 10 PM. This old man later died in his cancer, but during his last days he was delivered from the pain that had plagued him, puzzling the worldview of his atheistic son.

Another testimony came from my pancake church in Uppsala. One friday night some months ago when few where out (I, for example, could not be there), the team decided to split up and go and pray for the sick. Two of them went to a group of kids and told them who they were, what they did, and asked if someone was sick. Instantly, all pointed at one of the guys stting there and said ”Pray for him, his really sick!” And indeed he was. He had something that had seriously damaged his liver and lungs. The guys from the pancake church prayed for his healing.

Later on, two girls that had witnessed their prayer passed by when they were standing at another place. Then they turned around and said to them that they wanted to take faith in Jesus seriously and that they had been deeply touched by thei prayers. And yet they didn’t even know that the guy got healed.

But he did get healed. He went to his doctor the same week, and he was very surprised when he saw that his liver and lungs were fine. He told the pancake team this later on, and he was very happy.

And then we have the food miracle in Borås. When the pancake church from there presented themselves at UNION, one of the girls told about how they didn’t have so much pancake batter when they were our some months ago. They tried to find some more, but they had simply brought to little, so they started to fry small mini-pancakes to the kids that were hanging around. They were quite sad, since they realized that they had to go home earlier than they had planned. When one of them took the bottle whit batter to pour some in the frying pan (most pancake churches have batter in big plastic bottles, it’s easy to transport that way) she was surprised that it was so heavy. She looked at it and saw that it was around three quarters of its volume was filled with batter. The team continued to give pancakes to people, joyful and quite overwhelmed, and when they were out of charcoal later on (most pancake churches fry their pancakes over grills), they had still some batter left.

I spoke with the girl that had told this several times during the conference and asked her for more details. She said that thay brought two bottles, and they left with two bottles. Both stood at the table beside the grill. No one went there and fixed with them. Yet, suddenly one of them contained pancake batter that did not exist seconds earlier. ”I’m convinced that it was a miracle”, she said. ”And sure, we don’t need pancakes, we don’t give them to people that starve, but I think God did this to show His power.”

I talked to another person from the pancake church in Borås. In fact, I knew this guy, we’ve got to know each other some years earlier when we both lived in western Sweden. ”We’re you present when the food miracle happened”, I asked. ”Yes, I was present when it happened.” He told me how he had took up the bottle, shaked it a bit and sighed when he saw hos little batter was left. Then he went a bit away and testified about Jesus to people, and when he returned to the table he saw how the bottle had been filled to three quarters. ”At first, I thought that someone had filled the bottle or something, but then it turned out to be a miracle.”

I also talked with a third person that was present that night, and she confirmed what the other had said. She told me that they asked everyone in the team if somebody had filled the bottle, but all said no. And what would they had filled it whit? It was simply a miracle, a confirmation of that Jesus who fed 5000 men with five loaves and two fishes lives and works today.

Provision

We received this testimony from George McVey of WV:

I just wanted to pass along a couple of miracles that happened last week in my life. I pastor a new ministry called Prayer Walk Ministries and have been watching your Sunday services on ibethel.TV. Last Sunday I prayed the declaration with the offering and had a couple of “WOW GOD” moments. The first is I have been writing a book on prayer walking and had submitted queries to a couple of Christian publishers. One of them called me on Wednesday. I was just asking for information because I had not yet finished the book. After a 10-minute phone conversation with me, the admissions editor was saying, “Send me what you have finished because I need to explain why I just mailed a contract to an unpublished author without looking at the manuscript.” I received the contract on Friday. Thank you, God. Also, during that offering declaration we declared that we expected money [checks in the mail]. In Friday’s mail was not only my book contract but two checks totaling 1,060 dollars that we didn’t expect. Our God is so, so good.

GOT THE JOB!

The Oxnard Healing Rooms directors are Patrick and Mary Carey

I had been in need of a job and had very specific requests. I was asking God for a part time position with good pay. I worried that I was being too picky. After getting prayer at the Oxnard Healing Rooms on a Wednesday evening I was awakened on Thursday morning with a blessing! God blessed me with the job I had been seeking! THANK YOU JESUS!!! – Andrea on 2010-11-11

Ihop Atlanta – Oct Testimonies

On January 29th, 2010 IHOP Atlanta hosted a Leadership Summit, gathering leaders from around the nation to receive instruction and impartation for building a house of prayer. God visited that weekend in an unusual way. Many were touched powerfully by the Holy Spirit. Since then we have held extra services every Friday – Sunday. The Lord has continued to pour out His Spirit in a marked way, with many receiving physical and emotional healing. For eight months, the Lord has visited us in a dramatic way. We have over 485 documented testimonies submitted to us of physical and emotional healing, 15 salvations have taken place, as well as 20 baptisms. We are so thankful for the outpouring of God’s spirit here. Recently, through a number of prophetic words and confirmations, God has invited us to a season of focused prayer that the outpouring of the Spirit might go from “ankle deep” to “knee deep.” In light of this, our last official Awakening meeting was on October 10, 2010. If you would like to hear Billy Humphrey and David Sliker share more on what we feel the Lord is saying during this season, please listen to the podcast on our website www.ihop-atlanta.com

Counting the cost and adding up the value

Bill Johnson said, “You get what you need for free and you pay for what you want!” It costs to follow what you believe God is calling you to, but it turns out what costs you, you didn’t need. My wife and I left our full-time career and followed what we believed the Lord calling us to. We left our comforts and security for a life of risk and faith. We went out on the ledge of Christian faith and jumped off. We have never lacked what we need, ever. When we needed it, the Lord has always been faithful at the right time with the right amount.

Once, while in Nicaragua, we needed $150, we had nothing and a man who was visiting from the US, stopped dead in the middle of his conversation with us and said: “You need money! The Holy Spirit just said I need to give you money! I need to give you $150!” – just when we needed it, we got it. I remember another time we had no food left, all but one thing of oats was left for our family of five and we planned on having that for breakfast and, as if by chance, a pastor called us from another town and offered to pay for our whole family to come stay there while we ministered in his church. The timing was perfect. In amongst the hungriest of people we found the most supernatural generosity. Time and time again we have seen God perform miraculous provision as we have followed Him. Even today I marvel as someone donated tires for our van just before we have to head to Edmonton, (a 3o hour drive in winter with bald tires) and another generous person from Yukon Bible Fellowship donated enough money for all the gas and another donated money for repairs. And before we left for the Yukon, someone felt lead to pay off our $20k debt!  We are not getting rich following Jesus, but we are living rich following Jesus and lacking nothing. :)

Today as my hope was dropping, I am purposely remembering all that He has done, all He has provided. And today I can truly say, what we needed we got for free, but what we wanted we had to pay for. And what we paid with we didn’t need anyway, so there was no loss only gain. We wanted to go where He said go, we wanted to say what He said and it cost us all the false security and comforts we thought we needed. Although, in the moment, I miss the simplicity of a steady pay cheque and I am constantly challenged to remember His faithfulness, when I think about the big picture, I would trade it all again for the knowledge of His love demonstrated in His provision for us. I would gladly exchange my false comfort and security for the security and comfort of knowing that my God is able to do what He said He would do.

Even as I was writing this, another generous person from Yukon Bible Fellowship, donated more money to us for our trip. God is sooooo generous and knows what we need even before we ask for it. It felt like it cost a lot, but all it has really done has removed the dependency on things that we’ve realized we never really needed.

Our God of Abundance

A team of 150 Christians, led by Chuck and Linda Parry, go yearly to the Rainbow Gathering, a New Age festival in NM, to bring the Kingdom of God and feed thousands of people. Dozens of times have they seen supernatural multiplication of food. At times Chuck has scraped the bottom of the pot and not looked inside and scooped out large helpings for everybody because, he says, “God is a God of abundance.” Then when finished, he has looked in the pot and seen that it was empty.

Their budget for two weeks of camping, feeding and loving people for a crew of 150 feeding thousands is about $10,000. Last year, they had only half the money and spent almost all on provision and food before they went. As they were driving into the gathering, they stopped to get final supplies at Sam’s Club. Chuck had only $2,000 in his pocket. They filled four gigantic flatbed carts with food. Two of them went through, and the price of their contents totaled $1,800. He paid for them and had $200 left in his pocket. He was feeling stressed out and wondering whether to return the other two pallets, but decided to send them through. Chuck noticed that a gallon can of tomatoes was damaged. He decided to return that to the shelf and get a good one. And as he did, he repented of believing in lack and declared that God was a God of abundance.

When he returned to the cash register, they had rung up the two other pallets, and the total came to $1,600. Chuck felt the $200 in his pocket, and his cell phone rang. It was a friend who wanted to go to the Rainbow Gathering with them and had just arrived and stopped outside Sam’s Club because he saw their vehicles. He rang to say he was there. Then he added, “By the way, somebody gave me $1,400. Would you like me to bring it to you now or later?” Chuck said, “Now would be really appropriate.”

Generosity breaks the spirit of poverty!

My father-in-law and I have often talked about revival and what it takes to usher in a move of God unlike anything we have ever seen. His comments/wisdom have made a profound impact on our decisions  to relentlessly pursue the presence of God . We often talk about the value of honor in the process of building the church and the role the church has in revival. However one of the testimonies that has most rocked my world, is the one he tells often when we talk about honor.

He talks about when they were in a church on the coast of Canada. God was blessing them and they were steadily out growing their facilities. It was evident to the leaders that they would have to eventually buy/build a bigger facility. So they began a plan to raise money for this purpose. After some time they had raised $10k and were well on their way to seeing the down payment raised for their new facility. Then at an elders meeting it was brought to the attention of all attending that the nearby full-gospel church was about to lose their building because they were suffering financially. One of the elders in a prophetic moment suggested they sew their $10k into the full-gospel church in order to help offset the pressure they were experiencing. Well that was one of the most difficult things they had to do. The pastor almost quit over it and the church was split in it’s decision. However the pastor, with lots of counsel decided to take the risk.

This was a supernatural decision that contradicted the natural need to save and build, but it had supernatural consequences that they couldn’t see at the time. They saved that church from being dissolved and going bankrupt. Furthermore, several years later the full-gospel church is a thriving church and has given birth to several great missionaries and worship singers. My father-in-law recalls how that controversial decision brought in the biggest financial blessing to his church that he can ever remember in any church. There was soooo much money coming in after that, that they couldn’t contain it. They ended up paying cash for a $1.4 mil church building and they ended up spending 60% of their budget on missions in the following years. Generosity breaks the spirit of poverty in the church. I love this testimony.

History will also reflect the supernatural financial blessing decisions Bill Johnson and the leaders at Bethel Church, Angel Nava of Mexico and several others have made to shift the atmosphere through financially honor others. It is more than an act of kindness, it is a supernatural lifestyle.

Healing and Provision

My name is Sun. My husband, Yoon, and I are first-year BSSM students from South Korea. To make a long story short, we had a financial breakthrough!

As soon as we arrived two weeks ago in Redding to be ready for BSSM, Yoon got so sick for a week that he had to go to the ER on the second week of our arrival. Even in the beginning of the second week, we thought that he was just having a high fever because of the flu, but actually, doctors at the ER discovered that it was an inflamed liver. When he went to the ER, he was already seriously jaundiced and had a headache. Because of his headache, he went through a lot of examinations including a head CT.

Anyway, he got much better on the second day of his hospitalization, and he checked out on the third day. Yoon told me that after people from Bethel had come to pray for him (One of them was Yoon’s friend named David Oh, who is a second-year graduate from BSSM), he had his appetite back and started eating again. He felt that it was a big breakthrough because he had not been eating food for ten days. Of course, now he is very well, but we had our bill that we needed to pay back for all the medical care last week. We are working on getting an emergency Medi-Cal with a social worker, and it’s going to be pending for the next two months. We are believing God to come though that situation!

However, we just came back from school, and Yoon just checked our bank account in Korea as usual but found out something very unusual. He had to doubt his eyes for what he had just seen: approximately $5,000 in his bank account from a person that we know. That person knew our situation but definitely did not have our bank account number. God did it again!!!!! He is good and faithful!!!

A Car Blessing

Not actual car shown!

A student entering into the first year at the Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry sent us this testimony:

I just wanted to share a testimony with you! I have been working a new job the last couple of months that allows me to listen to my mp3 player while I work, and I have found this is a great time to catch up on all the sermon podcasts (and due to the repetitive nature of the work I’m actually about to concentrate and take them in). I think I’ve got through maybe 100 sermons in the last month and a half! It has blessed my spirit and my mind so much. I just find myself often just overflowing with joy in the spirit as I work!

Anyway, my specific testimony is that I was in a car crash due to bad weather about a week ago and it was pretty bad. I was unhurt (praise God!) but the car was a write off. We started the insurance claim but were not sure how things would go with the insurance company as the car had been a little beat up since I got it (I bought is used a year and five months ago). Well, I was at work two nights ago and I was listening to Bill Johnson’s sermon, “The Power for Increase,” from Easter 2008—a powerful message to be sure and some amazing testimony on it. I felt blessed and prayed along as I normally do, trying to claim the blessings from these messages for myself, but the next day thought about it no more. That is, until the claims assessor/adjuster from the insurance company called and said he’d looked at the car, everything was in order and he’d recommend I get the full market value of the car. God granted me favor before the insurance company so that what they are paying out is actually more than I paid for the car! With the excess fee taken away, the actual payment is almost exactly what I paid for the car!

Isn’t God good?! At a time when I really couldn’t afford to be out of pocket for all this, God blessed me and provided!

Thank you for sharing your sermons and testimonies and giving us the opportunity to be blessed too!

Food Multiplication Miracle

Lately a ministry that feeds the homeless in Minneapolis, MN has been serving many more people than they’ve planned for and is seeing food multiply! This last week they had over 100 extra people show up for the feeding program. They brought 10 cases of soda as well as hot dogs to serve for the meal. The man serving the soda had a group of 6 cans on a table behind him and would reach back to grab 2 at a time and put them on the serving line in front of him. The thing was, there were always still 6 cans of soda behind him! After they had been serving for a while they still had a line of 150 people left to serve but only had 40-50 hot dogs left to feed them with. And, of course, no one in this situation is only going to take 1 hot dog but rather 2 or 3. The leader of the group told the people serving that God would work it out and to just continue on. Not only was there enough for everyone in line to eat 2 or 3 hot dogs but there was enough for everyone serving to eat and take some home to their families. By the end of the night, when they packed up their truck, they put back 10 cases of soda! The same number they had brought with to begin the night!
