Physical Healing: Severe Sinus Condition, 7/18/10

I have had a severe sinus condition for 28 years. I remember having sinus infections and congestion since I was three years old. This has controlled my life for so long. Tonight as I praised the Lord, He delivered me! I felt the joy of the Lord. I stood in awe of the love God has for me. I am completely healed of all sinus problems! –Anchell

Physical Healing: Knee, 7/18/10

I injured my knee from sports about 5 years ago. I couldn’t bend all the way down or jump without experiencing pain and a loose feeling in my knee. Tonight I received prayer after a word of knowledge was given for sports-related injuries. Now, I can bend and jump without any problems at all! –Joseph

Physical Healing: Asthma, 7/18/10

I have had asthma for 13 years from having collapsed lungs as a child. Exercise would cause wheezing. Tonight a word of knowledge was given for people with asthma. We were told to go outside and run around to test and see if we were healed. I ran up and down the stairs and there is absolutely no wheezing or difficulty breathing! My legs are tired, but my lungs aren’t!

Physical Healing: Neck, 7/18/10

I have had pain in my neck from having my skull fractured in a car accident for about 4 1/2 years now. Even tonight during the service, I was experiencing pain and soreness in my neck. Whenever I would look up, my neck would hurt. A word of knowledge was given for those who had lingering pain in their body from car accidents. I went forward for prayer and after I received prayer all the pain left my neck. It no longer hurt to move my neck anymore! –Melissa

Physical Healing: Exercise-Induced Asthma, 7/18/10

I have had exercise-induced asthma for a long time. I get tired a lot when I run or exercise and have difficulty breathing. Tonight a word of knowledge was given for asthma and I went outside to test it to see if I was healed. I ran really fast trying to make myself really tired. Normally, this would cause me to have trouble breathing. After sprinting for a while, I felt great. I wasn’t panting for breath like I normally do. I believe I am healed! –Grace

Physical Healing: Tailbone, 7/18/10

My tailbone has been misaligned for about seven years. I wasn’t able to do sit-ups without having to go to the side to get around my tailbone or else there’d be pain. Tonight, after receiving prayer, I am able to do sit-ups without any pain. –Jenny

Physical Healing: Exercise-Induced Asthma, 7/18/10

I have had exercise-induced asthma for about 8 years. Tonight a word of knowledge was given and I went outside to test it to see if I was healed. I went to run in the heat and humidity, which would normally cause me to have shortness of breath and cause my airways to constrict. When I stopped running, my breathing was still deep and clear! Physical Healing: Scoliosis, 7/18/10

I have had Scoliosis for 15 years. As soon as I stepped into the altar tonight, God began to speak to me that my Scoliosis would be healed. I said to the Lord, “I’m alright; heal others.” I didn’t really think much of my Scoliosis unless I was in excruciating pain. After a few minutes, a word of knowledge was given for Scoliosis. I was shocked! I stood up for prayer and immediately my back started tingling with a coolness that felt like water. I felt the curve in my back straighten out and I actually feel taller. Physical Healing: Food Allergy, 7/17/10

I have had an allergy to pineapple for as long as I can remember. Whenever I would eat it, I would feel nauseous and break out in hives. During one of the Awakening Meetings, I was in the altar receiving prayer for something entirely different. I felt the power of God coursing through my body like electricity. The next day, I had a strong craving to eat pineapple. This was unusual because I haven’t had it in years because of the allergic reaction it causes. However, my desire to eat some was really strong that day. I was over at a friend’s house and when I opened the refrigerator there was a pineapple lying there. I ate it a piece. It was so good! And I did not have an allergic reaction. I ate it and nothing happened. I have been eating it ever since. God has healed me! –Karl

Physical Healing: Knee, Ankle, Tendons, 7/17/10

I hurt my knee, ankle, and the connecting tendons about a week ago while dancing. My knee and leg hurt so bad when I got here that I knew if God didn’t heal me I wouldn’t be able to drive back home. I got prayer three times for my knee and the connecting parts. After receiving prayer, I would walk around and test it. After the third time of receiving prayer, I feel completely healed!!! Now I can drive home. –Chastity

Physical Healing: One Leg Shorter than the Other, 7/11/10

My left leg is about 3/4 inch shorter than my right leg. I have constant pain in my left knee and leg. I also experience a lot of stiffness, especially after running. During the Awakening Service, a word of knowledge was given about people that had one leg shorter than the other. Some people gathered around me to pray for me. They asked me to sit in a chair and stick my legs out. They immediately saw that my left leg was shorter. They prayed for me for about 45 minutes after which my legs appeared more even. After going home that night, I realized I had no more pain and stiffness in my left leg. I went running about a week later and had no stiffness in my left knee or leg afterwards. The most remarkable part of this healing is that for all of my adult life I have been measured at exactly 5′ 7″ tall, but after the healing of my left leg, I am now 5′ 7.5″ tall! Thanks be to God! –Brian

Physical Healing: Styes, 7/10/10

I have had styes in my left eyes for a few days now. I received healing prayer last night during the Awakening Service. When I woke up this morning, the styes were completely gone!

Freedom from Self-Hatred and Suicide, 7/10/10

For 25 years, ever since I was a 5 year old boy, I wanted to kill myself. I lost hope as a child and I didn’t want to exist anymore. During an altar call to deal with self-hatred, a friend prayed for me. I confessed that I have not wanted to be alive anymore all throughout my life. He wept as I shared this with him. I received prayer. The Lord set me free from self-hatred. I no longer desire to destroy myself. I have hope! –Matt

Physical Healing: Pain from a Gunshot Wound, 7/10/10

I have had pain from a gunshot wound for the past 2 1/2 years. This has affected my ability to walk. Tonight I received prayer during the Awakening Service and the Lord touched my body! The pain greatly diminished. I have better balance now and am able to walk better.

Physical Healing: Headache, 7/9/10

Tonight during the service I had such pressure on my head. I had pain in my eyes and my head. I asked for some Tylenol, but instead someone prayed for me. The headache immediately lifted as I received prayer. This was the first time in my life that I have experienced healing. –Becky

I have been living with so much shame and condemnation. I had a performance mentality as it related to my relationship with God. Tonight the Lord set my heart free. I am beginning to believe that I am who He says I am and that I don’t have to perform perfectly to get His attention or to have Him love me. I realized that He likes me and that I can’t work harder than the cross to accomplish any good thing. He will bring me into fullness! –Sarah

When I was two years old, I broke my leg. At that time, they said I might have one leg shorter than then other, but I never thought much about it. Last weekend when others were receiving prayer for one leg being shorter than the other, I checked my leg to see if it was shorter and found out that it was. It was about 11/2 to 2 inches shorter than my right leg. Some people prayed for me in the Awakening Service for about 15 minutes. I didn’t really feel anything, but as we kept praying my hips felt warm. When we checked my leg again, my left leg was completely even with my right leg! –Kelli

I was on a BSSM alumni conference and heard the following:

Paul: 2 cases of HIV were healed in Africa, tested over and over again and confirmed.

Maggie: Alzhiemers resident healed on Easter, checked out of center.

Melissa: God is brining revival to the business realm! I work at a tanning salon and so far, God has healed ankles, necks, back pain, bringing salvation and baptism of the holy spirt in the salon. The other day I cast out a demon right in the tanning salon, oh this is in west palm beach Florida.

Linda: We have healing outbreak at our church for the last 3 wks during worship (Portland, OR). Two of the Sundays involved back pain and injury so bad they could only shuffle. We’ve been pressing in for healing and God has answered the demand we have put on heaven! Yay God.

Jesus heals by napkin

During the recent 2010 (June) school holidays I drove from Cape Town (South Africa) to the town of Wilderness with my two sons (Leo, 6 and Zac, 4) and my mother. Leo was feverish the night before we left and less than halfway to Wilderness (about a 5 hour drive) he said that he was feeling (car)sick and that we needed to stop.

There wasn’t a place to stop on that stretch of the highway, so I told him to hold on and that we’d stop as soon as we could. My mum gave me a damp napkin from the lunchbox to pass to Leo to place on his forehead in the meantime.

I felt prompted to tell them the story about how handkerchiefs touched by Paul were carried to the sick, and they were healed (Acts19:11-12), after which I asked Leo if he wanted me to pray over the napkin and ask Jesus to make him better. He said yes, so I took the napkin in both hands and prayed over it. It was a simple prayer, but it felt special.

I handed the napkin to Leo, and my mum asked me more about the story of Paul. We were still talking about it when Leo interrupted from the back: “Dad, its better now.” It was so quick that I asked him if he was sure he was OK, and that we didn’t have to stop. As kids of that age are, he just said “Yes” nonchalantly, passed back the napkin and went back to staring out the car window.

We never stopped, and for the rest of the 3 hour trip (or the holidays for that matter) Leo was never again nauseous, feverish or sick. He was instantly and completely healed.

The faith of a child and the power of Jesus is an awesome combination.

Thank you Lord!

Healings at Youth Meetings

At some recent youth meetings, words of knowledge were given and six kids stood up for headaches. They all were healed. One with TMJ that was causing headaches was healed. Five backs were healed. Several were saved. Clicking and pain in jaws was being healed. One told about having been shot in the eyeball with a rubber band. He could only see blobs. They prayed for him, but he didn’t yet have much faith that he would be healed. Later that night, he responded to the word of knowledge for backs, and his back was healed. That stirred up his faith, so he asked for prayer for his eye. A youth laid hands on him, and his eye was completely healed. He thought he had bad luck with injuries, but that lie was lifted off of him, too. The youth who had prayed for him said, “My mom has been telling me that I have a healing gift, but I never saw anybody healed. My name is Asa; it means ‘healer.’ And my middle name is Victor.” A youth had lost his dad and he said, “Now I see that I have a heavenly Father, and He’s my dad.”

• At Jesus Culture Atlanta, Scot Thompson did his workshop on healing revival. Of the 500 in his workshop, eighty people were healed. One was healed of cystic fibrosis. Two had metal disappear. A lady had crushed her foot badly, and they had put metal pins in her toes that would shove into her foot when she exercised, causing great pain. The pins disappeared. She tested it out by doing things that she couldn’t do before.

• A girl had social anxiety disorder. She had stress-induced bulimia, for which she saw a therapist and took medicine. She felt all that lift off of her and gave a testimony to the 500. On outreach that day, she got the words “depression” and “suicide.” All afternoon, she looked for that but didn’t find the person. That night, she said, “Is it somebody here at the church?” During worship, the Lord told her it was not someone at the church; it was for her friend. He told her to text her right then. Her friend texted her right back and asked her to call her. Weeping, the friend said she was sitting in her room with a bottle of pills and a razor blade getting ready to kill herself when she received the text about God’s love and plan for her.

• In 1993, a man had had a parachuting accident at 15,000 feet. His parachute malfunctioned and he hit the trees, bounced off the ground and broke his back in three places, shattering one area. He was in constant pain all those 17 years, and a huge bulge had formed on his back. He came to pick up his wife from the workshop. He received prayer, and all the pain left and the bulge disappeared.

A girl was in a walking cast. Six months previous, she had broken her ankle. It was swollen black and blue. She had a foot shorter than the other. At a youth meeting, the kids prayed and it grew. They kids freaked out. One said, “If the Lord can grow your foot out, He can heal your ankle.” She jumped up and down on that broken ankle, which was healed but still black and blue. The youth said, “If the Lord can heal your ankle, he can take away the black and blue.” The next morning, the normal color was returned to her ankle, and it was no longer broken.

Healed of a Serious Nut Allergy

In the UK, a teen had a really bad nut allergy. If she ate a nut, her mouth would instantly swell and she’d have to go to the hospital and get a shot. She asked the Lord to help her make sure it was Him. Then they gave a word of knowledge about food allergies and told people to test out their healings. On her own, she ate a chocolate-covered nut. She figured if she was going to die, she should die with chocolate. Then she just stood there to see if something was going to happen. Nothing happened, so she knew she was would be healed. She testified on stage that she was healed. Asked how she knew, she said, “I ate a nut.” She then said what normally would happen when she did that. The person leading the meeting would not have encouraged her to eat the nut had he known that, but on her own, she had done that, and God saw her faith. She was healed.
