HAVE FAITH IN GOD
The man of God went straight to the heart of the matter in his sermon titled, Have Faith in God. He directed his listeners to Matthew 7:7, “Ask and it will be given to you, seek and you will find. Knock and it will be opened to you” and asked, “Has this been happening?”
Matthew 7:8 “For everyone who asks, receives, he who seeks finds and him who knocks, it will be opened.”
Explaining the verse, he said that this was Christ’s encouragement to pray and His assurance that your prayer would be answered. But describing the state of this faithless generation, he said this, “When people do not pray, it is because they have no hope of an answer. Unanswered prayer stands between you and your faith. Because it is stated there, all things are possible – you just have faith in God. People do not pray because they are frustrated in their faith. Their hope has been shattered too often. Now, they continue only in the formalities of their religion. The reality has disappeared.” Ripples of agreement were visible in the congregation as the prophet’s words struck a chord. He proceeded to explain that when the Bible says, ask and you shall receive, this is asking out of faith, not feeling. Sometimes people base their spiritual experiences on feelings and emotions. Problems arise when feelings and emotions change. He said that to ask out of feeling is when you are poor and it is time to pray, you pray for blessing, when you are sick and it is time to pray, you pray for healing. When you are blessed and it is time to pray, you say, thank God. And God is good all the time – all the time God is good. The man of God concluded reminding us that all is possible when we ask in faith, saying that communion with Christ Jesus springs from union with Christ Jesus.

MIRACULOUS HEALING
The faith of all was raised as they witnessed wonderful testimonies of those who had been healed of terrible ulcers in various parts of their body. Among those who testified was Mr John Achioyame, who joyfully came to thank God for healing him of a leg ulcer. The congregation gasped as the footage showed the terrible state of Mr Achioyame’s leg when he came for healing. He explained that he was unable to walk and the doctor’s only option was to amputate the leg. The footage showed the man of God at the prayer line praying for Mr Achioyame, saying, ‘Thank you for Your power of resurrection’. Mr John Achioyame testified that at these words, his entire body became cool, then the pain completely left and the ulcer dried up and healed. Rolling his trouser leg to show the previously affected calf that was now completely restored, Mr John tapped his leg, with the words, “No more pain, no more crying, no more sorrow. Have faith in God. Jesus Christ is with us for ever!”

LIGHTNING OF GOD
With the atmosphere charged, and the people’s faith lifted, the Wise Men began prayer in the power of the Holy Spirit at the Prayer line. Problems of all types and burdens of all sizes crumbled at the authority in the name of Jesus Christ. Demons and contrary spirits left screaming under the influence of the lightning of God. Surely, where the light of God shines, darkness has no hiding place. Among those who received their instantaneous healing was 53 year old Mr Hart Bibonye who was healed of inability to walk due to fracture of left leg bone. At the prayer of the wise man, Mr Bibonye rose to his feet and took his first steps of freedom for the past 14 years. Also rejoicing in her healing was 30 year old Miss Anthony Osegou from Enugu, who was healed of a multiple fracture of the tibia due to an accident. Miss Osegou who had been dependant on crutches to move around, stood up and walked unaided after the prayer, saying, “Thank You Jesus. I can walk well now!”

DELIVERED FROM SPIRIT OF STEALING
Those who had been following the touching story of Emmanuel who had been delivered from the spirit of stealing after a word of prophecy, rejoiced in the full reconciliation, in which his father who had previously disowned his son because of the terrible vice, came at last to give thanks to God for his deliverance. Prince James Okoeguale,59, from Edo state, came with his wife and son to confirm the prophecy that his son had received about a young boy who still had the marks of handcuffs on his wrists after being in prison because of stealing. Prince James Okoeguale recounted how from the tender age of five, Emmanuel had begun stealing. What they thought was just childish misbehaviour soon turned more menacing however from the age of eight, leading to his detention in different police stations when caught thieving. As if that was not enough, his father explained how as proprietor of a school of almost 1,000 pupils, his business had been thwarted by his son’s habit of stealing his pupils’’ possessions – incidents that led to parents withdrawing their children from the school and the school’s eventual closure. Prince James Okoeguale also painfully told how his name had been disqualified from a chairmanship campaign after he was labelled the father of a thief. On Emmanuel’s last thieving operation, he was arrested and this time, his father refused to bail him out. When his mother did and brought him home, Prince James Okoeguale said that enough was enough, that they should both leave. He told the congregation how his wife had only asked to sleep in the house for one night with Emmanuel before travelling to The SCOAN the next morning for his deliverance. Smiling, he explained how friends had begun calling him and congratulating him on his son’s deliverance which they had seen on Emmanuel TV. “Now, he no longer steals”, said Prince James Okoeguale, “He is free.” I want to thank God for using the man of God to deliver my son and because of that, I want to dedicate this child to God. The crowd cheered as the testimony was complete – a son that was disowned was now being dedicated to God in joy.

MARRIAGE RESTORED
The fire of the Holy Spirit knows no colour, or class, or relation. As the mass prayer was taking place and the man of God called on contrary spirits to come out, many who had been sitting quietly worshipping, suddenly began to squirm, writhe and scream, arrested by the Holy Spirit. Brothers looked at their sisters, husbands at their wives, parents at their children – estranged. This was exactly what happened to Mr Kolawole Olagunju from Kaduna state when his wife began to manifest and speak with the voice of a contrary spirit. Below is a synopsis of the dialogue that followed:
TB Joshua to the wife: Who are you?
Wife: I am a king. She is my queen.
TB Joshua to the husband: Who is she?
Husband: She is my wife.
TB Joshua to the wife: Who are you?
Wife: I am a king.
TB Joshua to the wife: A king where?
Wife: Under the river.
TB Joshua to the husband: Did you know you are married to a king?
Husband: No.
TB Joshua to the wife: Who is this man?
Wife: I don’t know him.
TB Joshua to the husband: How long have you been married to her?
Husband: 20 years.
TB Joshua to the wife: This man says he is your husband.
Wife: I don’t know him. I don’t know you. I am a king under the river.
TB Joshua to the husband: Where did you marry her?
Husband: I married her on the surface of the land!

It was clearly not a natural situation. The man of God directed Mr Kolawole Olagunju to hug his wife and as he did so, she fell to the floor and was delivered. As she rose to her feet, the prophet asked her, who is this man? He is my husband! She replied. Mrs Kolawole Olagunju proceeded to explain how she had been tormented by a spiritual husband that had destroyed her marriage and rendered her husband’s business useless. She explained how the spiritual husband had begun fighting inside of her when she watched Emmanuel TV and touched the screen. Mrs Kolawole Olagunju said that before, whenever she closed her eyes she used to see this man who would even lie between her and her husband at night but that now, after the prayer, he was gone. The congregation gave thanks to God as Mr and Mrs Kolawole Olagunju embraced and rejoiced in their new found freedom. Deliverance had brought solution to the home – reconciliation indeed.

As the service drew to a close, many who didn’t believe before, now believed that they were in the presence of God where old things pass away and all things become new (2 Cor 5:17).

Amazing Fruit

…  When we started our School of Supernatural Ministry in Dario we would take our students in the rented truck to villages, churches, different cities to declare and demonstrate the kingdom of God. One night we went to Tipitapa and at his church the power of God came to confirm the message of the gospel of the kingdom. Pastor Delbert organized a pastors seminar and wanted our school to come and I remember the day we did and just the joy of all our kids and people on the bus that day. It was a powerful time and there was a time when we called them up 10 at a time and turned the students loose and watched God just heal and touch people. That was the time I wrote about when a 12 year old girl who just came along for the ride started praying for a lady for healing and got filled with the Holy Spirit as she prayed for her, the lady being healed also!….

…At that seminar was the former Superintendent of the Assemblies of God of Nicaragua. He was now pastoring a church and Pastor Delbert told me that his church was dead, lifeless, a desert and poor. All of this was unknown to me. The pastor was discouraged and beaten down. Pastor Delbert said that I prayed for him that day and immediately everything changed. The church began to grow, God began to visit the church with power, the economy of the area of the church changed overnight and the church began to prosper and it happened suddenly with striking transformation and he wanted to let me know that this all happened at that seminar. Now that is something to get happy about I would say!!

Not only that, but Pastor Delbert was transformed himself by the message of the kingdom and had just returned from Bolivia where God had used in in such authority and miracles that an entire community of witches and witchcraft was dismantled as he prayed and God broke out in signs,wonders and miracles and that all began when we came to his church and at that seminar!!…

Joy of Miracle Healing…

Today I spoke at the 2 services at Pastor Sarrias church in Managua…

…At the end of the service an elderly woman came to me grinning and excited!!

“I was the one healed when you prayed for me at TBN last time you came”

She could not walk and was healed live on TBN in March. She was just overwhelmed with joy and had some of her family there and told me that it was her birthday today but God had already given her the best birthday present in the miracle of healing she received. To just stand there and be a part of that moment is so precious, isn’t it!…

Sundry Miracles

… I felt to call out anyone with lung problems, breathing problems, neck and throat problems, head and neck pain whatever the cause and it wasn’t long before before the pastors daughter began to see the miraculous healing power come. I also had the ushers, the deaconesses join her in praying for people. An old woman with severe head pain, healed, a woman not able to breathe healed, a businesswoman with lung problems began to breathe normallly, and one by one God began to touch the peoole. Stomach disorders healed, pain leaving the abdomen and a heart healed, and I am sure there were more. The Lord began to descend on those in seats nearby and it was glorious. I also have people coming up to me from past meetings to testify of being healed and still healed, God is so good!!

I will share more as I find out more of what He did but He is so wonderful and I love to see the beauty of God envelop the people!!

I have been experiencing the shame of sexual abuse for the past 2 1/2 years. During an altar call for the shame of being abused, I wanted prayer but I didn’t want to raise my hand because I didn’t think I could be healed because I thought the abuse that happened to me was all my fault. I raised my hand very lightly, kind of hoping that no one would notice and that no one would come over and pray for me. Within seconds, I was surrounded by people praying for me and I started weeping. They kept praying over me and singing in the Spirit over me. I went to go sit down and more people came and prayed for me. I was hearing so many accusations so I told the Lord that He had to come for me and show me His heart. I closed my eyes and saw a vision of Jesus riding towards me on a huge horse. He had a sword at His side and His eyes were burning. He was shouting. I knew He was a conquering warrior and that He was coming for me. I knew that no one could stand against Him. I went to a ministry room and received more prayer and counsel. I felt the shame of the sexual abuse lose its power and I knew that the abuse was not my fault. I felt so free and so full of joy! I am so so happy about this work of the Lord in my life. –Anna

Delivered from Depression, 5/23/10

I have struggled with a depression for as long as I can remember. I have been prescribed anti-depressants by two different doctors and neither worked. For months, I have been singing, “There ain’t no chains that can hinder me” but I felt like a hypocrite because I knew I was still bound by depression. I came to the Awakening Services here in a couple of months ago. During that time I was healed of severe acid reflux, but I really needed deliverance for the dark cloud of depression that during certain seasons would latch on to me and make it virtually impossible to live my everyday life. I have gotten significant freedom as I have continued to attend the Awakening Services, but it still seemed I had a cloud of mourning that hung over me. Tonight I heard the Lord speak to me and say that I was to be a “prophet of joy.” I then felt the oppression lift and I suddenly felt different–lighter and more free than ever before! –Steven
Freedom from Shame and Blaming Myself for Being Date Raped, 5/23/10
For the past two years, I have experienced shame and have blamed myself for being date raped. Tonight when they had an altar call for all people who felt like “damaged goods,” I raised my hand and started crying. I felt all the pain that I had previously pushed down. At the service, I found someone to talk about it with and was able to forgive the person who raped me. I was also able to forgive myself. I confessed to believing lies that it was my fault that I was raped and that I am now less worthy of love because of it. After I prayed, I was so happy! I danced and shared my testimony and then danced some more!

Delivered from Depression, 5/23/10

I have dealt with depression on and off for many years. Tonight was the first night I have visited IHOP Atlanta. I came in very depressed and overwhelmed. I had received some very bad news that my son was going to have to have a spinal fusion surgery. As I came into the Awakening Service, the joy of the Lord came upon me and I began to laugh until my stomach hurt. The Lord spoke to me and told me to rejoice because everything was going to be alright. I am free! Glory to God! I can’t wait to come back to the Awakening Services! –Veronica

Freedom from the Fear and Boldness to Pray for Healing, 5/23/10

During the Awakening Services, I have been experiencing a lot of joy and have been liberated by the Lord’s delight over me. At the beginning of the Awakening, I didn’t want to pray for healing for people because I didn’t think they could get healed if I prayed for them because I felt so un-anointed. During the services, I have been continually encouraged and started believing that the Holy Spirit works in all believers to release healing. I was set free from fear and began to walk in boldness. I was in nursing school during the time of the Awakening Services and was taking care of sick patients constantly. I started praying for my patients while caring for them as I grew in belief that the Lord could heal them. I saw many of them actually receive healing! One patient was in critical care after having a stroke. The doctor told his family that he would probably never wake up. I prayed for him all day and within one week he was awake and breathing on his own. Another patient had frequent seizures, as I prayed in tongues for her, she came out of a seizure and said “He loved us when He didn’t have to.” I asked if she was referring to Jesus and she nodded. I started declaring the love of Christ over her and praying for her. Her condition improved the next day and she was released from the hospital a week later. Jesus is the Healer! –Anna

Physical Healing: Back, 5/22/10

I have had stiffness and pain in my back for two years. This past week I could not stand up straight or bend backwards. During the Awakening, I received prayer. As people prayed for me, I was able to stand up straight without feeling any pain, but I still could not lean backwards at all. As they continued to pray, I was able to extend my back backwards. I continued to receive prayer and I know that God is completely healing and restoring my back. –Patrice

Physical Healing: Slipped Disc in Back, 5/22/10

On Tuesday, 5/17/10, I slipped a disc in my back while working. I was in severe pain. I have had people pray for me all week, but Friday night during the Awakening Service, as I was praying for someone else with back problems, all the pain left my back. Saturday, just four days after my injury, I was able to help a friend load furniture into a moving truck and then helped unload the truck. This should be physically impossible, but I know the Lord put His healing hand on my back. My back does not hurt at all! –Gyl

Freedom from the Shame of Sexual Immorality, 5/22/10

I have been ashamed for many years that I fell into sexual immorality. Even though I have been free from sexual immorality for a few years, I still carried the shame. I didn’t want anyone to know of my failures in this area. I felt like damaged goods. During the service tonight, God broke off the shame and told me that I am “clean.” I am not embarrassed of my past anymore and I can testify of all that God has freed me from. –Jaime

Physical Healing: Scoliosis, 5/22/10

I have had Scoliosis for six years. While sharing a testimony of other healings I have experienced since the Awakening started, I mentioned that I had Scoliosis. When I was done sharing my testimony, people prayed for me. While they were praying and laying hands on my back, a couple of people said they actually felt my spine shifting. I left the room and had a friend, who has seen my back and witnessed the Scoliosis numerous times, look at my back. She said that it looked different and that it appeared to be more even. We prayed again and my back looks a lot straighter than it ever has before! –Erin

Physical Healing: Right Ear, 5/21/10

I have had pain, pressure and ringing in my right ear for about a year. During the Awakening Service, a word of knowledge was given for the right ear. I was actually a part of the worship team that night, playing the drums. Normally, I wouldn’t have raised my hand for prayer since I was playing at the time. However, no one else came forward for prayer so I knew the word was specifically for me. I raised my hand and they started praying for me. All the ringing and pain left my ear! Praise Jesus! –Peter

Physical Healing: Neck, 5/21/10

I have had discomfort in the base of my skull and pain in my neck from a previous fracture that I received over four years ago as the result of a car accident. A word of knowledge was given about pain at the base of the skull, particularly the right side. I was amazed because that was the exact location I’d been experiencing pain. After receiving prayer, I could move my neck all around and it didn’t hurt at all. Normally, this type of movement would cause my neck to ache. All the pain is gone! –Melissa

Set Free From Past Wounds to Experience More of God’s Spirit, 5/21/10

I grew up in a charismatic church and was saved during the Toronto Outpouring. When I was 19 I attended a ministry school at a charismatic church and was deeply wounded through a few specific relationships. The pain from that caused bitterness to well up within my heart and I became closed to experience the tangible presence of God in my life. During the Awakening Service, the Lord tenderly touched my heart and told me I needed to repent for wanting to hold on the pain more than I wanted to be close to Him. The instant I repented a wave of glory hit me and the weight of His presence stayed with me for the rest of the night. I haven’t felt that close to the Lord in a long time! He is softening my heart. –Laura

IHOP Atlanta

IHOP ATLANTA HISTORY

In October of 2004, we started IHOP Atlanta with trembling in our hearts, yet hopeful that the Lord would indeed build His house of prayer. We started with 40 hours a week of worship and prayer and as God added new people, we added more prayer. In a short period of time, we expanded our weekly prayer meetings to cover 75 hours and later, 120 hours a week.

We were amazed as God continued to bring people who, in spite of their own human weakness, were committed to giving themselves to the vision of night and day prayer. On February 12, 2006 what was previously only a dream became a reality, as the IHOP Atlanta prayer room was expanded to cover 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The prayer meeting that started on February 12, 2006 continues to this day, without ceasing. God has continued to gather people from around the nation to see that the fire on the altar never goes out. It’s astounding to think that there has never been a worship-led prayer meeting that continued unabated for this length of time in our city, until now! Prayer and worship never cease to arise from our city to our great God.

Physical Healing: Neck, Back, Sore Throat from Allergies, 5/15/10

Physical Healing: Neck and Upper Back, 5/14/10
i have had pain in my neck and upper back for the past five months.  I couldn’t look down without experience pain and had limited motion in my neck.  During the Awakening Service, a word of knowledge was given.  I received prayer and immediately I felt 50% better.  As I received more and more prayer (all within about a 5 minute time frame), the pain continued to leave.  I now can look down without experiencing any pain and my full range of motion in my neck is restored! –Katrina

This is an account of the healing that took place recently.
As always, the prayer line produced some outstanding miracles, with the prayer of faith being offered and the power of God transforming people from sickness to good health. Among the many cases was that of Mrs Teresa Igwebo, a retired school matron who had been confined to a wheelchair for the past 8 years following a stroke and enlargement of the heart. The 64 year old who came from Enugu State could scarcely believe it when she was told to rise and walk in the name of Jesus, but supernaturally she rose up and took her first few steps of freedom. The joy beaming from her face on realising the pains were gone and she could finally walk, Mrs Igwebo thanked Jesus profusely for her remarkable healing.
Her testimony echoed that of thousands who came to The SCOAN on Sunday 16th May 2010 in sickness and sorrow only to leave in joy and freedom, knowing that truly – Emmanuel, God is with us! What a God we have to worship; what a Son we have to praise; what a future lies before us!

I have had really bad allergies because of pollen for over 10 years. I have suffered with eye, throat, and nose problems because of this. I have also been dealing with a lot of mental stress. A word of knowledge was given that the Lord wanted to heal allergies. My friend and another lady prayed for me. My nose immediately dried up and my throat was calm and normal again! The lady who was praying for me mentioned the Lord was setting me free from stress and the rushing around that I have been doing. I am stress free now! At my church, patience and not rushing through life are the topics my pastor is ministering on and this lady couldn’t have known that. Physical Healing: Tendonitis, 4/18/10
I have had tendonitis in my left knee for about a month. As I received prayer tonight, I felt a sharp tingle in my body. I began to test out my knee and it felt like nothing had ever happened to it. All the pain is gone! I am healed!

Freedom to Receive More of God, 4/17/10
I have been so calloused toward receiving more of the Holy Spirit. I’ve loved the Lord for years but until I began coming to the Awakening Services I didn’t know to ask for more of God or His Spirit. I didn’t know I could. I didn’t realize there was more of God for me to experience! The Lord has completely changed my paradigms. I’ve been asking God to open my heart for months and tonight the Lord set me free! I’ve never experienced Him and His power in this way before! He’s releasing me from pride and all my inhibitions and enabling me to receive more of Him! Praise God! –Kat

T. B. Joshua (the man of God) is the head overseer of SCOAN (Synagogue Church of the Nations) in Nigeria. The videos are incredible, some of which are offensive in content, but incredible demonstrations of God’s goodness. Breast Cancer healed, Butt Cancer Healed and other areas of the body that otherwise were being eaten by Cancer getting healed. That doesn’t even touch all the other healings and dead raisings that happen in this church. WOW! I don’t know him personally, and I haven’t been to his church, but this looks like my God!
