After the Lord laid this message included below on my heart, I felt a challenge to pray for one person a week for a whole year. I preached the message and then challenged the body of Newlife Church in Kelowna, BC to pray with me for one person a week for a whole year. Then I challenge you all and then all the others on my Facebook wall. Here are some of the results.
“At church today, I called out a few words of knowledge. One person’s foot got healed, another’s neck, and another’s knee. I went to the gas station after church because my tank was almost empty and thought I got a word of knowledge for the left shoulder of the guy on the other side of the pump I was at. He went inside and I asked God to confirm it when he came back out. Then I got a word for his back as he walked by. I stayed at my car until the gas was done pumping (you aren’t supposed to leave the pump unattended) and then went and asked if his lower back gave him problems. He said it did, but it wasn’t hurting right now. I explained how I knew and that God loved him and wanted to heal him. After praying for him I asked if he had a problem with his shoulder. Again he said yes and that it was bothering him yesterday. I asked if it was the left shoulder and again he said yes. I explained to him how I initially thought God was telling me he had a shoulder problem but had asked for a confirmation. He was really happy that I had stopped to pray for him.

“I worked with a woman on Saturday who was worried that she was getting sick with cold symptoms and she was going on a holiday to South Africa in a few days. I prayed for her and her sinuses cleared. She felt much better!!. I had prayed for her another time when she had a major toothache and the pain went away immediately. We talked about Jesus , her Healer afterwards…” – Wendy Arelis

I was experiencing excruciating chronic pain in my lower back, especially on left side for the last two weeks. It was bad enough that medicine only dulled the pain, but didn’t take it away. It was also enough that I chose to see a chiropractor about it, which only made it intensify. Again my body was unresponsive to therapy. I actually received prayer from one group that met some other needs on my heart. In soaking, I felt God wasn’t done yet, so I asked to go again. Resting in peace and rest God had been pouring over me, I walked into the next group. The prayer volunteer identified where my pain was, led of the Holy Spirit. We prayed and the pain diminished in intensity. I asked if we could pray again because that area was tender to touch. We prayed again, and it left. God reminded me I was armed and dangerous with this gift and reminding me not to be intimidated by the attack of the enemy. What a privilege to receive such a great gift unconditionally!
On Friday, January 10, I drew my waitress a prophetic art piece and prophecy on a napkin; then I prayed for her. (The picture was of God’s hands holding her heart, with two angels on each side of her. God also showed me that the reason she is still here is because of the prayers of so many people around her life.)

We had a team of Diane, Steve and Judy Capp, Prater Gray, me and translator Rebecca. WE ministered in the community near Insejec church with Carol and Fabi and Christine. We prayed for a 72 year old man who told us he is an alcoholic. He used to be close to God, but not lately and his sin/guilt was keeping him away. We prayed over him, broke the curse of addiction and alcoholism, and blessed him in Jesus’ name. We encouraged him that God accepts him. He began to weep, sway and sweat; He really felt the presence of the Holy Spirit. He was so blessed and thankful for the team! Yay God. ~Mary
I decided to give God space to work in my life and committed tp going to the healing rooms weekly for prayer. The team of volunteers were always kind and welcoming. Over the past four months I have been healed of a tooth abscess( the dentist on seeing x-rays said it was a miracle ). I have experienced greater awareness of God’s presence in my life. An ongoing TMJ issue has improved. I have experienced deliverance from fear which is very exciting. I have had less fever blisters. I have been giving amazing and accurate words of knowledge to people. This has been very reassuring to me. – T on 2011-11-22
My sister-in-law was suffering from constant headaches for many years. No medication helped her and she was suicidal at times. There was a witchdoctor who cursed my sister. One day I visited the Healing Rooms to stand in the gap for my sister. The team prayed for her and gave me a prayer cloth to give to my sister. She put it under her pillow and after the first night she phoned me. She was healed and felt no pain. My sister was healed by God and she no longer has any headaches and she isn’t suffering from depression any more. She is happy and praising God. Amen! – Patience on 2012-07-25
